A morning out to a « vide greniers »

I found this little statuette, it is damaged ( broken feet) but I still love it. It is very old.

This is the first of May and I bought this lily of the valley from a grandma and we both wished luck to each other, it is what we do each 1rst of May to wish each other a year of luck! So I wish you all followers and reader a LOT of luck 🍀 !

Today, I recieved pictures from the Lofoten islands.
We did not get up early because we did a LOT yesterday and we are very tired! But we decided to go to « a vide greniers » ( empty attic) this is a very big one each May 1rst our Labor day. Thousands of people there and 4 kms walk to go and come back from the place and we had lunch at a nearby « Burger Factory »
Now we are sitting in front of the TV and have a big rest! I took pictures of what I found ( the tapestry I bought from an old lady who made it herself, will be transformed in a cushion.)
Maxime with dad and the cabin where they are staying.

  3. If only my Lily of the Valley were blooming I could pick some and wish someone Good Luck. That's a lovely tradition.
I'm glad you bought the statuette of the little boy with no feet. It deserves to be kept and somehow displayed so the lack of feet doesn't show.
Cute picture of your son and Maxime!!

My lily-of-the-valley isn't in bloom yet. I'll just with you good luck with tulips instead.
