Facing the sun!

 Hello friends,

The children went back to Dubai on Saturday.

At the moment we are facing many problems

I partly solved them before our holidays!

The car is still in the garage, it’s been two weeks now!

They are waiting for pieces to arrive… from where???

And many other problems!

Well this morning I went to the hairdresser and stop on my road to take these sun flowers pictures, I love them always facing the sun as an optimistic way to face life problems.

All our holidays are planned and I am impatient to leave !

Happy Birthday 🎈!

 Today Maxime is four months and grandma baked a small heart fruit cake with Maxime candles that we will lit tonight! His mum will eat it and as she is feeding him he will get some of my Birthday cake in her milk!

We won’t see him for his first year, so this is why I decided to make a Birthday 🎂 cake

This is a fruit cake and I baked another one and I tasted some and it is quite good ( first time I make fruit cake with almond powder inside “Miam!”

I have a LOT to do and I hope I’ll be fit enough.

Grandpa ‘s new car broke down and  it is difficult to have it repaired on time.mine is American and grandad a European one (I will not give the brand but…he is not very pleased we could have had a very serious accident!)

But we will use mine to go on holidays fortunately!

A quick Hello!

At least our first meet! Nearly four months old.

Grandma has prepared everything to welcome the new member of our family!

 Just to say a quick Hello! And a nice 😃 smile!

We are very busy with this little boy and at the same time I am preparing our holidays in Frise North Netherlands. I already booked B&B, hotel in places of interest and even in a cube tiny house in the middle of a field! But Mr L will have a surprise by the choice of the accommodations!

Busy holidays.

 Today early this morning I baked Woopies , chocolate chips cookies , peanut butter cookies 🍪 for my son arriving this weekend.I have been preparing everything for Maxime my grandson.

It is very hot again 35 degrees in the shade!

So I cooked and baked this morning. I like to make Houmous to eat very fresh in summer with toasted bread.Apricot pie, rice pudding.

A few surviving flowers! We have a water restriction 

And we will see those who can resist.

I will take a break as I will be with my son in August and take a break in September, I think we will go up north of Netherlands and hope to get a cooler weather!
