This week end, we have three days off because it’s Pentecost or whit Monday ( I don’t know which word is the right one?)
Here we say Pentecôte.
So we have three days weekend.
Today, we are going out shopping, as the shops re opened on Thursday!
Because of my back surgery and not being able to walk for three months, I have put weight on and must get some new summer clothes!
The next days , we will read and relax because the weather will not allow us to go out.
Go to church on Sunday.
This is what will happen here during this weekend...
And what about you?
I will read, watch TV and relax, too. The weather is not good here either. It is dark and cold. I think it is going to rain.

It's a long weekend here too and sunshine today and Sunday but maybe not Monday. It doesn't matter much to us because we're retired but for those who are still working it's a lovely break.
RépondreSupprimerWe're going to BBQ tomorrow. Some family will certainly be coming but restrictions still exist.
I went to Pentacost Mass today and we did the last part of the Novena. Father Bill was resplendent in red vestments but sprang some news no one wanted to hear, he is retiring! We do not have Monday off here in New Mexico. But Memorial Day, the Monday on the 31st, is a holiday for many.
