one butternut
4 dried prunes
6 dates
2 dried apricots
50 gr hazelnuts

soup spoons blond dried grape
2soup spoons almond powder
1snall onion

6soup spoons taragon
1 egg
olive oil.
salt and pepper
wash the
butternut cut the two extrimities to get a 4 cm hole by taking out the center.
preheat oven 180 C.
cut and mix prunes, dates,apricots cut hazelnuts , cut
onion.
Mix prunes, dates, apricots, hazelnuts, taragon,dried grapes with almond
powder. Add salt and pepper.
in another bowl mix cream with egg and add to the
previous preparation. fill the butternut with the stuffing and pour olive oil on
top of it into a baking dish. bake for 35 to 40 minutes.( put four
baking sheets underneath the butternut to be easier to take it out of the baking
dish). Cut 2 centimeter slices.

i have written a gingerbread recipe which has disapeared! i have a big problem with my blog!
Honey orange gingerbread.
400 gr honey
400gr rye flour( but i prefer wheat flour and i used it in my gingerbread)
2 paquets of baking powder, i had a look and two paquets are 22 gr.
1 soup spoon of gingerbread mixed spices
.
2 eggs.
80 gr butter.
candied oranges cut into thin pieces 100 gr (keep sone pieces to put on top of the bread for decoration)
(mix the orange pieces with some flour to prevent them from falling to the bottom of the mold)
1 pinch of salt.
in a saucepan bring gentlly the honey to boil.
in a bowl pour flour, baking powder and spices. them add the honey until you get a thick dough.
then add the eggs, butter and salt.
knead for 10 minutes.
allowing the dough to rest for two hours.
We preheat oven 180 C or gaz 6.
pour the dough in a cake hold and bake 45 mn. (a rectangular tin.)leave it to cool on a pastry grid!

RépondreSupprimerBoth of these recipes look fantastic, and I have all the ingredients at hand. This year my butternut crop was puny, but there are enough to make a new recipe for Christmas, and this one looks so festive.
