Today, the weather is bad, we have left Sneek this morning, but we are still in Friesland ina National Park Ina region of lakes. All the things we wanted to do were cancelled… but we went for a little walk and came back before the rain, went to a village we like Grou and came back to the hotel fora iced coffee!
The view is from our bedroom. The hotel is at Earnewald , Princenhof hotel which is a quite big hotel in the middle of the National Park.many fields with horses and sheep 🐑 wild birds 🦅…
It must be nice to ride a bicycle on the numerous bicycle roads but I can’t anymore. My daughter and her husband were back home today after many bicycles rides in Amsterdam.
Tomorrow we are off close to the frontier in a farm B&B and we will be halfway from home !
We have been walking 44 Km in 7days, but there is one more day to walk!
I have a thought for those of you who have lost your Queen. She will stay for ever in our memories.
