Before and after …

Before

Today, I have spent it working on my wardrobe after the week housework and laundry.

 The work is not totally finished I have still to work on it today. I must go and get what I need to finish it to my friend ‘s shop this morning.

The sun is back! 🌞

Yesterday, I worked on my chest of drawers. I added 

Manuscripts in between the flowers.

I have still work on the third drawer.

I have got to rub the transfer on the drawer.

At the same time, I am working on my wardrobe

I baked this little pastries. Two puff pastries and in between I put orange 🍊 jam twisted the little squares and on top sugar mixed with cinnamon which is very easy and good with coffee.

I am feeling a little better. I have a chronic health problem, so as soon as I feel a relief I am back to housekeeping!

Shopping Saturday !

Last day holidays for my son who went from Scotland to Greenland and Iceland. Going to visit us for a few days before going back home.

Yesterday, I went on my application “ Too good

to go” all this would have been in the rubbish.

To save a basket of food. I don’t do it often to let other people also get a basket. I order and pay on my phone and my husband who is working in the town brings it home after work.

This time we had two bread baguettes, four goat cheeses, two big goat cheeses of another kind, waffles,

Parma ham, and “viennoiseries” chocolate bread, croissant…for 4euros 99! It’s real value was 20 euros.

Do you remember the big plastic piece which was in the “ratatouille “ can? Well I had news, they phoned me three times and I had to send them the piece and in short they have solved the problem with one of their machine ( and as they say I was of a great help) they are sending me something, I did not really want, but they insisted ( to keep the customer…) the important is that they have found what was wrong for the safety of everyone!

Yesterday morning I went to my favourite Italian clothes outlet. I had a 50 euros voucher and all clothes were at half price before they installed the new collection.

So I got three tops, one pair of jeans and a jacket for 60 euros with my voucher! Mr L sat and played on his phone while I was bargain hunting! 😆 he is very patient!

This piece was 199 euros and I had it for 35 euros.

A white T-shirt with « broderie Anglaise leaves and the same in navy blue. Easy to wear with jeans.

A third top and a pair of jeans. It was a busy Saturday ! We left at 9h30 and came back home by 6 ! A long day!

A morning out.

This morning the rain has stopped for a while so I decided to go out after being inside for ten days.

First I had health problems, then heavy showers all the time and to finish heavy storm.

I went to get some decorative paint and transfer to customise a desk, then I went to get white sneakers 👟 

And suddenly there was a very heavy shower! As I was in front my favourite cafe and restaurant, I had my meal there.

Caramelised pork ribs with potatoes and a crème brûlée.

The place is called” les deux zèbres” the two zebras

Twins are the owners. 

 

I drank an iced tea, but the door was open and it was cold! Windy outside and only 19C.

The dish was rather an Autumn dish , but I choose it instead of a salad 🥗

Now I can see the sun by the window, but for how long? That is the question!

By the way, last night I saw a mother deer and her two babies in the garden, just before dark and two others in the background. They were eating and the babies were playing in the tall grass. It was so nice, I watched them half an hour and then they went back in the forest .

Raindrop keeps falling on my head! 😆

If you are too hot… this is from my son this morning to refresh you 😆!

 This morning, it is all silent, after all that wind noise during all day yesterday. Bandit was scared because of the big noise and feels better today. Going to the vet on Saturday we realised that this little guy is already 9 years old ! As he is always so speedy we forgot about his age. He will soon go to the kennel, but does not like it very much.

I did not listen to the radio yet, but certainly trees fallen, power cuts and flooding on our coasts. Brittany and Corentin. Before we had a lot of power cuts during the winter storms, but in the village the electric cables are underground, so no more power cuts in the village!

Yesterday they had to rescue a mother and her child doing paddle on the sea in the morning whereas it was forbidden to go near the shores! How stupid!

We also had pouring rain 🌧️ during July , but it is all green ! The farmers rushed to cut their crops in between showers and all the crops are sheltered for the winter.

I received part of what I ordered , a head jacket made of recycled plastic bottles.

This morning as usual these days, the rain is pouring!

A « stay inside » weather!

 Hello Friends,

We had very heavy rain last night, it fact, now it does not stop raining… and today, we will have very strong winds! Many trees were already broken last night.

The weather is cool 20 C, but today the radio advises us to stay home if not necessary, so I will stay home instead of going out.

This morning I am waiting for some parcels I have ordered on internet from my favourite shop before the Summer sales ended, to get summer clothes before the winter collection arrives to get rid for Dubai this winter. Temperatures in winter is around 25 and 30 C!

Our son is still in Greenland and is soon leaving for Iceland to photography the volcano 🌋 

A picture he has sent me last night, I particularly like.

Jardin des Agapanthes, a romantic garden.

Each year, we like to visit this garden, they also have night visits but we are too far to do it. I really would

Have liked to do it once, maybe next year and find an hotel for the night.

I love hydrangeas and Agapanthes such beautiful flowers!
