My rabbit family 🐇

Hello Friends,

Today, a new storm is arriving! I did the shopping 🛒 yesterday,  so I will be staying inside today. Our daughter is coming on Saturday with her husband we will have a Birthday meal for our SIL they’ll stay here for the night and I on Sunday our daughter will run a trail in our village with many people and 13 of her friends.

Today will be baking and house cleaning.

Tomorrow our heating engineer is coming to see what to do with our oil boiler and add another means of heating ( I am anticipating)

While I was doing my closets sorting I found these little rabbits I made during the lockdown. It is the time to take out rabbits for Easter! So here is my felted rabbit family!

 Hello Friends!

Before the weekend and market day tomorrow, let me take stock of my parcel situation! Last night I was watching the news and one of the subject was Roissy airport’s customers. They were complaining about the 5000 parcels arriving each day and a lot of delays in their work. I think  a strike will soon take place! And they are rejecting some parcels i don’t see another answer to my question . Mine is perfectly packed, labelled and the custom label was detailed. Nothing wrong with it. This is why! I am waiting for it to be back, but will not send it again for the moment.

Today, is the last day of sun. Tomorrow rain is arriving, so no gardening and a day out! The meals are done for a few days so nothing to do.Mr L is on duty Sunday so I’ll be on my own all day and it will be a rainy day. What shall I do? Some DIY I expect. 

Yesterday, I did some cooking and cut out some butterflies from my Dutch magazine “Daphne’s Diary”

Nothing much today except that the first big parcel for my son and Max’s Birthday arrived yesterday in Dubaï at least it is the more important one and I am glad it arrived on time it was important for me!

 Still indoors, but going out tomorrow with Mr L, looking at some sales in the shops and wandering in the villages around.

We went to have a look at the bookstore and I found some very nice and interesting books.

I am glad to be able to paint the birds I see from my window.

Today, I decided to do some watercolour with the book I had bought last year.

I made myself a coffee with a biscuit I like ( I first had them during a stay in Greece they were called Papadopoulos these one are salted caramel ones.

In Greece they were chocolates ones and I ate them with my iced coffee!) happy to find them in france.

It is not perfect, but I spent all my afternoon doing it.

 It is a long time since I did some drawing and painting 

I will continue with this little book to improve and my aim is to do some “carnets de voyage” travel books.

So I am going to continue and practice!

I had a nice day enjoying to do this little water colour and will continue tomorrow, then it will be the weekend and with Mr L we will go out and be busy! My weekend are always busy!

Winter crafts

This and that…

Yesterday, I went out shopping and got some led lights for my little houses. I don’t know if Maxime will come for Xmas as his mum will be expecting his little brother baby beginning of next year and won’t be allow to take the plane. These little houses will wait !

This is apple time here in Normandy and time to bake crumbles and tarts! There is a good cinnamon smell in the house!

Early this morning the sun is here and there in the house.

Today, I will start painting the desk and bake apple pie 🥧 after having been to the post office  🏤.

Yesterday, I worked on my chest of drawers. I added 

Manuscripts in between the flowers.

I have still work on the third drawer.

I have got to rub the transfer on the drawer.

At the same time, I am working on my wardrobe

I baked this little pastries. Two puff pastries and in between I put orange 🍊 jam twisted the little squares and on top sugar mixed with cinnamon which is very easy and good with coffee.

I am feeling a little better. I have a chronic health problem, so as soon as I feel a relief I am back to housekeeping!
