These are beautiful pieces of handiwork, Catherine. I think it's what we call in English "tatting" and is made with a shuttle and fine thread. In French I think the name is La Frivolité. Did your mother make them? It looks like some have tags, so perhaps she purchased them somewhere.
RépondreSupprimerJoyeux Noel, Catherine! These are busy days for you.
Have a wonderful Christmas!!
RépondreSupprimerI don't know what kind of lace they are. They remind me of the crocheted snowflakes I have on my Christmas tree.
RépondreSupprimerMerry Christmas!
The lace is just gorgeous! In the US we call it tatting. It's so intricate and finely detailed.
RépondreSupprimerHope things went well with your Mom's move.
The picture of you as a child is adorable!
Congratulations on two years of blogging. And I'm glad I found you.
RépondreSupprimerI love the many inspirations and the communication with each other.
The stars are beautiful...they were crocheted with a fine needle...fantastic patterns. I really like it.
Your childhood photos are beautiful... what lovely memories... a great pleasure to see. Thanks.
