Souvenirs, two years blog and Christmas giveaway.

This what I found at my mother yesterday moving everything from her flat. These are from the 50’s
It’s some kind of lace you use to decorate hand made table cloth or map kind. I don’t know the name, but some of you I am sure know the name. I thought it was called in french «  entre deux » ? 24 pièces.
this will be my vintage giveaway for my two years blog!

  1. These are beautiful pieces of handiwork, Catherine. I think it's what we call in English "tatting" and is made with a shuttle and fine thread. In French I think the name is La Frivolité. Did your mother make them? It looks like some have tags, so perhaps she purchased them somewhere.

  2. I don't know what kind of lace they are. They remind me of the crocheted snowflakes I have on my Christmas tree.

  3. The lace is just gorgeous! In the US we call it tatting. It's so intricate and finely detailed.
    Hope things went well with your Mom's move.

    I love the many inspirations and the communication with each other.
    The stars are beautiful...they were crocheted with a fine needle...fantastic patterns. I really like it.
