First roses and Happy Mother’s Day!

I will have two flowers!

Today, we have 19C and my husband cooked a barbecue for me with row carrot salad and asparagus.

I only baked an apple 🥧 pie.

It was difficult for me to go food shopping  🛒 yesterday, I really feel very tired, but I had to help him to select the items we needed. We did shopping for two weeks and if I need anything else I will use the shop delivery. My husband gifted me a tulip bouquet, I love the colours!

I rescued a peony from the super market that was at a very low price because they don’t water them. If not sold they die!

I give it 1litre and a half water and my husband is going to plant it this afternoon.

Now I am resting and my husband is gone to the garden centre 

« Desjardins » to get me a confortable outdoor recliner.

I could not go with him, not feeling good enough today.

I will be able to read outside with a blanket when it is chilly.

The first roses are blooming and it is the first time my Xmas white Amaryllis will flourish again. I am waiting for my outdoor recliner, my husband phoned me and found a light grey one! I will be able to sit confotably out side!

My small apple tree is surrounded by nettles we will have to get rid of them! Lot to do in the garden!

Yesterday, I cleaned all the windows except two big roof windows I have to do today. I will pop to the decoration shop to get some curtains for my laundry room. I ordered a new  laundry rack on Amazon , better to put the laundry outside with the price of electricity !

Today, I will start writing in my book what we will have to do in the house and in the garden, not to waste time.I must also get paint to do painting outside, many projects In mind !

Outside, the robot is working for me , mowing the lawn and the peonies are starting to bloom, but I am afraid of the rain this weekend  it may cause damages Again like last year. I had to cut the flowers and put them in a vase.

This morning I found the curtains I needed, went to another shop to get button decoration for my yo-yos and went to the vet to get Bandit anti histaminiques.

This evening I cooked asparagus, MrL likes them with a lemon cream sauce, it is ready!

A long week-end!

Today, the MRI went well. I took a taxi as Mr L could not stop working today and I arrived early and finally was lucky and did not have to wait! I was out by the time I had my appointment , I had time to have my lunch before the taxi arrives.

I went to the garden with my basket and cut some roses before the rain and thunder!

The peony is finally in bloom

 

I made some bouquet and I am watching “ inspector Lewis” in Oxford this beautiful town ! 

We will have a three days weekend and we will try to visit a village full of roses it’s name is Gerberoy or Giverny depends on the weather!
