Beginning of the hot weather!

A  new peony flower that was broken. I bought it last year and it has already some flowers.

From one pink to another!

Following the outside of our home for those who are new I show you this small downstairs bedroom. I did it myself painting and wallpaper ( when I was able to do it. I wish I could do again!)

This was our daughter’s bed and desk. Near the desk there are some of my craft items.

 I nearly painted and did wallpaper in all our rooms by myself.( some  years ago)

I had to test the stove yesterday with doors open because it is new and it’s better to do it in spring or summer.

In the evening I closed doors and windows and I could reach 22 C degrees, which is good considering that we have an open staircase. I had a terrible headache as they used a very noisy tool to take some bricks out of the fireplace to get the pipe into the chimney, but I slept well and feel better this morning!

Today, I must do  grocery shopping and tomorrow we have to do the terrace cleanup but as it will be hot it will be nice to use fresh water. It will take us the whole day!

So I wish you a nice weekend! Ours will be hot 30C!

Yesterday, I cleaned all the windows except two big roof windows I have to do today. I will pop to the decoration shop to get some curtains for my laundry room. I ordered a new  laundry rack on Amazon , better to put the laundry outside with the price of electricity !

Today, I will start writing in my book what we will have to do in the house and in the garden, not to waste time.I must also get paint to do painting outside, many projects In mind !

Outside, the robot is working for me , mowing the lawn and the peonies are starting to bloom, but I am afraid of the rain this weekend  it may cause damages Again like last year. I had to cut the flowers and put them in a vase.

This morning I found the curtains I needed, went to another shop to get button decoration for my yo-yos and went to the vet to get Bandit anti histaminiques.

This evening I cooked asparagus, MrL likes them with a lemon cream sauce, it is ready!

Second day of life! Girls are said to be born in Roses 🌹  and boys in Cabbages 🥬 , but I only have new born pink flowers in the 🪴 garden. 

I am in contact with my son during the day and he sleeps in the hospital room during the night.

I love this Rhododendrons colours.

This afternoon I am going to sow some poppyseeds.
