New purchase in my dressing and new peonies.

Hello friends!

I was waiting for my yellow peonies to bloom 

And with a little bit of sun 🌞 it’s done! It will have about 10 flowers this year.

Friday I cut some of my rhubarb and cooked it to eat with pork meat. We first had this dish in the Netherlands and it’s very good.

On Saturday we also did some photos to renew  our passports.  It was a great time! We laughed a lot but it’s scary to see how old we  now are 😂 

We had great fun!

During the weekend we’ve walked 10 kilometres!

Yesterday I told you we did some Spring shopping yesterday. I had a voucher of 150 € in my favorite Italian outlet so we drove to the town Saturday  morning.

I found navy blue linen dresses ( my favorite!)

The first picture is one of the dresses with a long Summer kimono that I found in Dubaï.

The second is the Indian scarf I found yesterday on the coast.( hand printed)

 Well now I am better equipped for Spring and Summer!

A busy day.

Today I have appointments but yesterday I went into the garden to look at my peonies bush. It is beautiful this year

It never had so much flowers!

I will be busy today but I leave you with my peonies. Enjoy! I wish you could smell their perfume! So nice!😊

Book Nook, travel and tulips.

After all the puzzles 6 big puzzles since December, my husband new hobby is to build these small decors to put in between books in a book shelf with light! This is the second one he started last night!

Already Thursday! I did quite a  lot yesterday and today

I have a little more to do and I must find what to cook for Sunday. Our daughter and SIL are coming for the day, our daughter will participate to a Trail race organised in our village in the morning. Then on the 1st of May they are leaving to do their cycle 🚲 tour. 630 kms! They start in Passau ( Germany) 🇩🇪 going along the Danube river to Vienna ( Austria ) 🇦🇹 Bratislava (Slovakia) then to Budapest ( Hungary) 🇭🇺 during two weeks .

On Sunday, we will organise to follow them on my phone.

This is what he has built. It is quite nice in between books!

Hello Friends!

I am busy today, preparing Easter, but when I went out in the garden I went to get my phone to take pictures of my apple trees. The flowers are so beautiful ❤️!

This first one give tiny little decorative apples, the second one has only few flowers but gives big good apples.🍎 

In two days it is now in full bloom.

 The rhubarb is growing quickly and I am impatient to bake crumbles!

Now I must go back to my work and wish you a nice day!

A sunny 🌞 cold beginning of week.

Today, it’s still cold, but sunny and blue sky through the haze. 

Yesterday we had our lunch in a crêperie in Honfleur, we discovered the organic without alcohol cider which was very tasty and good.

Then in the afternoon we had a waffle and a hot chocolate.

We decided  to leave on time before the rush on the motorway 🛣️ which is going to Paris.

It was the first time we use d the payment of the motorway on our phone and don’t have to stop and pay at the machines. ( we already used it in Dubai long ago)

 

I found a new book about watercolour to learn how to paint wild flowers.

On Saturday I went to my favourite clothing shop for the end of the sales. I received a message it was 70% off! I found three tops and three pairs of jeans.

Last week I reorganised my kitchen shelf 

And i sorted out my cook book and recipes. Today, it will be a quiet day. The nurse came this morning for my blood test, tomorrow I go to the hairdresser and this week  I’ll meet the young mother to give her  the clothes my grandchildren don’t need anymore, we must choose the day.

The sun 🌞 is here and I may go for a little walk!
