New purchase in my dressing and new peonies.

Hello friends!

I was waiting for my yellow peonies to bloom 

And with a little bit of sun 🌞 it’s done! It will have about 10 flowers this year.

Friday I cut some of my rhubarb and cooked it to eat with pork meat. We first had this dish in the Netherlands and it’s very good.

On Saturday we also did some photos to renew  our passports.  It was a great time! We laughed a lot but it’s scary to see how old we  now are 😂 

We had great fun!

During the weekend we’ve walked 10 kilometres!

Yesterday I told you we did some Spring shopping yesterday. I had a voucher of 150 € in my favorite Italian outlet so we drove to the town Saturday  morning.

I found navy blue linen dresses ( my favorite!)

And a very special bag! Made with Bandanas ( the Bandanas we had long ago) to go with my navy blue clothes.

 Well now I am better equipped for Spring and Summer!

This and that…

Auntie Maud should have run a semi marathon on Sunday, but she caught COVID and could not do it she was disappointed as she did a lot of training.

So she stayed with Max and Will watching TV

She left Dubai yesterday and is back to France.

William is already 7 months old now and training to walk already!

( in fact they all had COVID)

And Maxime with grandma’s blanket.

Winter is approaching! The maple are beginning to turn red and the blue tits are eating peanuts 🥜 

This is not a new bag, but I will use it today with my new shoes bought in the Netherlands, they are very comfortable.

 

I am going to the hairdresser and then  varnishing the armoire and tidy the room.

Better stay indoor!

 Hello Friends !

Yesterday, I decided to get rid of all the fabrics I had in my closet and decided to sew dust bags for my bag collection ! Yes, I am a bag addict ! I already got rid of the wool and now the fabric. The small pieces will go in a patchwork and the Laura Ashley one is going to be a bed and pillow cover for the new baby cradle. It will go from father to son! Here is my new bag! One more!

Yesterday, I also baked scones to eat with my lemon curd, scones are good, easy to make and SO good with tea!

Our DIL has a doctor appointment to see if she is going to have a second Caesarian, the baby was small and had problems, but with the vitamins they gave her now it seems to be a big baby like the first one! So they don’t want him to be too big and he may arrive earlier.

The other grandma has arrived and will stay about a month to help her daughter which is reassuring.

The weather is still horrible and we had strong wind last night today we will have more rain and rain!I will continue my sewing 🧵 and I must do some exercise on my treadmill as I am not going out it is so wet and cold at the same time.

I saw 👀 colourful shoes ! I am not used to wear these colours, but the times are so dark that I needed colour

I went to get Bandit this morning and he had lost a lot of weight, he was happy to go there before, but now does not want to go. I tried a few times to see what happened and each time he is in the same state when he returns home. So today, I phoned another kennel and we have an appointment beginning of June to visit the place which is closer to our home.

This time I will try one or two days before going away on holidays.

But  at the moment he has eaten and is resting, I hope he will feel better soon, or I will have to go to the vet.

The weather is horrible today, I had to drive through flooded country lanes to fetch Bandit!
