New purchase in my dressing and new peonies.

Hello friends!
I was waiting for my yellow peonies to bloom
And with a little bit of sun 🌞 it’s done! It will have about 10 flowers this year.
Friday I cut some of my rhubarb and cooked it to eat with pork meat. We first had this dish in the Netherlands and it’s very good.
On Saturday we also did some photos to renew  our passports.  It was a great time! We laughed a lot but it’s scary to see how old we  now are 😂
We had great fun!
During the weekend we’ve walked 10 kilometres!

Yesterday I told you we did some Spring shopping yesterday. I had a voucher of 150 € in my favorite Italian outlet so we drove to the town Saturday  morning.
I found navy blue linen dresses ( my favorite!)
Kaki linen trousers scarves and bag…

The first picture is one of the dresses with a long Summer kimono that I found in Dubaï.
The second is the Indian scarf I found yesterday on the coast.( hand printed)
Kaki linen trousers

A very light Summer jumper
And a very special bag! Made with Bandanas ( the Bandanas we had long ago) to go with my navy blue clothes.

Well now I am better equipped for Spring and Summer!

More clothes added to my wardrobe!
Have a nice week! Take care.

  2. Your new clothes are very nice, and I agree, you must look "classy".
I very seldom dress up and dresses are no longer in my wardrobe. We are definitely Seattle casual here.

  3. Catherine, my photos in my documents are terrible. I know I'm getting old, but I look even older in them than I do in real life. I hope these scary photos will continue to be published for a while, because if they don't, then it means I'm dead. :) So let them be, even if I don't like them.
10 kilometers? I'm at the point where I want to stop after 500 meters and I'd rather not continue. I don't know what will happen, but I always try to pull myself together.
Your flowers and clothes are beautiful, I always look at them when you post about them.
    Hugs. Éva

  5. Hi hi! 😊 It was so fun to read that you made rhubarb — Dutch rhubarb, I think? I’m really curious how you prepared it. I used to love it when I was younger!

And yes, isn’t it "funny" how getting a new passport suddenly gives you that little realization moment… like, wow, I’ve gotten older. I don't like it....

I read that you walked 10 kilometers — that’s quite a distance! Really impressive.

And your peonies… I absolutely love that color. It’s almost like vanilla, or a soft candy yellow, so beautiful.

As for your outfit: everything matches so nicely. You really have great taste. I would choose that sweater — I love it! Is there a bit of silver thread in it?
Wishing you a very lovely week as well!

    Love from the Netherlands 💛
