Not much to say! Except that fields are burning everyday when they harvest. It is hotter and hotter on Saturday we went to buy another mowing robot. They will deliver and install it on Thursday. We will have a bank holiday on Tuesday “ Bastille day!” Many fireworks are cancelled due to dry hot weather and fires.
We are not going to out much except grocery shopping and my husband going to work.
This week I’ll start the preparations for our son’s family arrival and wait until the heat comes down( if possible?) to do some cooking in advance to put in the freezer.
The picture is from our daughter’s house. The door was open and a hedgehog 🦔 came in and ate their cat food and drank!
So now they give him food and water outside in their garden. They live in town!
We are giving a lot of fresh water for all our birds, sparrows… the little ones are now out of their nests. We have four nests above our first floor windows!
Wishing you a nice week!

Dear Catherine, the hedgehog ate and drank. I noticed the latter word very much, because he needs to drink in this great heat.
RépondreSupprimerIt's good that you have a holiday on Tuesday, there will be a little rest.
I will remember when I was in Paris on July 14th. The Champs-Élysées in the evening was very beautiful, and I was there until midnight.
Do you know when the weather will be a little cooler, and when you can cook? Or do you have to start in the heat?
In Hungary, August 20th is a national holiday and we also celebrate with fireworks especially in Budapest. It usually rains then, and even with a storm and wind. Autumn arrives during those days. The fireworks are always uncertain because there has already been such a storm that a tragedy has occurred.
So everyone watches the weather forecast on August 20th.
Fireworks are usually dangerous in both heat and storms. It's good that they cancel fireworks in France.
