Like a Monday.

These aren’t cherries but little decorative apples. This is the first crop, plenty again on the little tree! Too much this year the branches are bending a lot.

So cute these tiny apples!

Hello Friends !

These flowers are not from my garden, but from the little market on Saturday in the village next to ours.

I bought my weekly vegetables to a man who has a big garden and sell his vegetables and fruits every Saturday

He even grow sweet potatoes.

I love their colour so bright . When we were in the Netherlands we saw a field full  of dahlias.

Yesterday I did not do much in the afternoon except follow our daughter’s race on my phone! She did the 42 kms but had to walk for t the two last kms being exhausted.

It was her first marathon, so I think it’s quite good to finish it.

Today, is cooking day!

I have to cook spinach, beans, tomatoes… and freeze some meat for the coming week. Then continue dusting…

The laundry is done, and finally watercolour if I have some time left.

Pink, blue, purple and white!

Hello Friends,

Before I start cooking and baking for the weekend, I went out in the garden with Bandit.

All week the weather was cold and rainy so I did cleaning, laundry … inside and I did not see the Rhododendron in full bloom! I was looking many times and there was nothing, so surprise when I went to have a look in their corner of the garden! The Azalea will soon be all bright pink!

This bush is at the garden entrance with a white Hydrangea and mock orange bush ( not sure of the name) it is all white and has a very nice smell. It will be soon blooming with the lilacs . ( don’t remember the name of this bush on the picture ?)

 The peonies take time to be in full bloom, due to bad and cold weather.

The Robin and the sparrows

Hello friends !

We are having a warm sunny day. Instead of of cleaning I think I’ll sit outside in a recliner with my dog Bandit!

This little videos are about our Robin, a couple living in a garden bush.

Today, there is a noisy agitation in the bush in front of the house ! In fact I can hear new born sparrows in the nest!

🪺 so parents are very busy . The nest are above our upstairs window shutters four nests. So the agitation is from the bush to the window a very noisy and joyful atmosphere.

The moles are back! So Bandit is chasing them and he is also busy!

This morning I went in a rush to the post office to post my son and Maxime ‘s Birthday 🎁 presents.

Grandpa found a Batman alarm clock ( for school time in September)

And grandma a camera to take pictures with dad.

I had to register my parcels in the net as usual.

Our son is moving this week end it will be quite a job even if it is two storeys above!

Autumn is round the corner!

This weekend Autumn will start! So I decided to bake little fruit tarts with grapes and apricot jam.I made my own crust ( it’s been a long time since I made one!) but more tasty.

This weekend is patrimony days, we will try to visit some places around home, but Saturday morning we will go to my favourite clothe shop to spend a big voucher on winter clothes, before the voucher ends!

I did a big clearing in my wardrobe and need new pieces for the Autumn and winter.

Today, Mr L is going back to work and I will go shopping in the nearby supermarket. We are a little painful after working in the garden , but we did it between two showers! We will have two days without rain during the week to work outside or in my she shed.

I will have to get the old outside paint and paint it again , it is urgent ‼️ last year after the rainy days it has been suddenly very, very hot and it was difficult to work outside. I also have a table and chairs to paint to go in the shed and clean the inside for Summer.

It was Aid  religious days in Dubai , so I saw my son DIL and Maxime for an hour on Friday and they are preparing their travel in Norway ( Lofoten islands) I hope Maxim will be ok. They are leaving end of the week. It will be his third travel! France, Seychelles and Norway.
