Autumn is round the corner!

This weekend Autumn will start! So I decided to bake little fruit tarts with grapes and apricot jam.I made my own crust ( it’s been a long time since I made one!) but more tasty.

This weekend is patrimony days, we will try to visit some places around home, but Saturday morning we will go to my favourite clothe shop to spend a big voucher on winter clothes, before the voucher ends!

I did a big clearing in my wardrobe and need new pieces for the Autumn and winter.

Fall and pear 🍐 biscuits 🍪

Today, I have a lot of fruits to use, so I made some cooked mixed fruits and these pear biscuits.

Now I will cook butternuts with ham and goat cheese for tonight.

It is hot 27 degrees C and the sun 🌞 is shining outside.

I will prepare the bulbs baskets with tulips ready to plant!

At the end of the week things are improving, except being positive to my covid test! I am still most of the time in my bed, but it is better than when I had it the first time. My son has left hospital and my mother is slowly recovering.

 

Today Mr L will do the weekly shopping and we will have workmen to work on our internet. Hope it works!

The situation is getting worse with our petrol stations

The strike is still going on since three week and a big general strike is coming on Tuesday !

As I can’t go out Mr L can use my car to visit his patients and go to work if his car runs out of petrol.

Not much to say , because nothing done this week.

But I am reassured concerning my son and mother’s health.

Autumn is coming!

Autumn is really arriving! 

While we were away the spiders had a festival in the house! This morning I did some cleaning and found an idea last night on Lorrie’s blog. I had peaches 🍑 and baked a peaches pie this morning. «  Fabric paper thread »

I tasted it for lunch and it is delicious !

It will be soon time for Autumn cleaning 🧹.

The laundry is finished ,then the ironing to do . on Saturday I am going to get wool and start to knit 🧶 

Tomorrow I will have my hair cut and do some shopping. Bandit is still very tired and had his bath yesterday before going to bed and is all clean now!

 It’s nice to go on holidays, but also nice to come back home!

An Autumn evening.

Yes, we are in Autumn! Mr Bandit is cold and like to relax inside. 

I am preparing my jigsaw to do it during cold days. 

I can smell a tomato quiche baking in the oven.

With a puff pastry I used mustard on the pastry, added the tomatoes a mixture of 4 eggs and two soup spoons of cream and finally fresh goat cheese and bake it for 35 minutes temp 180 C in a convection oven.

Yesterday, some workers came to install the optic fibre,

But it was not possible … I have to make a hole in a wall to get it done. Somebody is coming on Friday and we will see what ‘s going on!

I took it off the oven to take the picture but it has to go back for the cheese to melt on the tomatoes!

It is soon time for supper!
