Tourp manor or torp in Viking language was farm or Little village.

Hello friends!

Today was a quieter day. We already visited a lot and it was not the first time for us here, we came many times before.

Today we went to the Tours manor.

It was at first a farm when Vikings settled 

And along the years become this farm manor.

We are going to there tomorrow to have lunch and I will try to take a complete picture.

All the buildings are stuck together in a rectangular place closed by a big porch.

It has it’s chapel and pigeon house.

The restaurant is at the far right end

Normand cows. There were a lot of sheep 🐑 before but now they breed more cows.

There was a very interesting exhibition about the peninsula wild life. Mr Pascal was interested.

Just before we left we heard an helicopter above the hotel and a road was blocked by the police the urgency was there.

Something very bad occurred on a boat. There is an hospital at about 35 kms but in case of emergency or car crash you’re transported by helicopter 🚁 to Caen hospital on another district. It’s rather far away of big hospitals.

The roads are  quite good but they are often very sinuous and narrow so better be careful! I am telling my husband I am not interested by an helicopter ride!

Tomorrow will be calm because we are leaving on Sunday. Back home and prepare our trip to the Netherlands!
