Getting garden decorations.

With a solar lamp

These are what we choose from the little shop to put in our garden.

This morning, we went to do some shopping for our garden decoration. Some more solar lamps and an outside carpet to put under our new table and chairs.( My husband is building the table in the garage because of the rain)

Then we went there. We did not go to the abbey this time, too cold and too much rain. This is my favourite decoration shop and this is also a very nice B&B «  l’Atelier de Tess »

We had our lunch there, we ate crepes and continued our Saturday « trip » to the garden Center to look for a 
 Plant shredder. We are going to get it tomorrow morning. to get rid of the cut vegetation.

Tomorrow will be the chat with Maxime and relax in the afternoon !

A sunny weekend .

On Saturday afternoon, I did not want to work on the shed. We went to do some shopping at the hardware store, we have a problem with the gaz outside the house. We live in the country and we have big gaz bottles outside at the back of the house  and  there is a leak, I could smell  it , so on Tuesday I must call the plumber who is also our heating installer.

We went to buy another gaz bottle, they will deliver it on Saturday, but we will use the barbecue for the moment, oven and microwave.

Then I did not want to go back home and we drove to the Abbey, “ Le Bec Hellouin”

We went to listen at the monks and  sisters singing hymns. That was  a very beautiful moment of prayers.

Then we went to the shop where  I buy my Mailed mice and found this frog garden decoration.

After we had a farm ice cream , I had rhubarb and lemon

Speaking of rhubarb, I have cut mine in the garden and will use it tomorrow for a dessert.

Busy weekend !

I found a round carpet, but not the one I wanted, but I will wait until I go to the thrift store again.

 Two days ago, my daughter phoned me and said she had some vacations, but not her husband so she wants to go on the coast by bicycle 🚴! She will cycle two days and sleep two nights in hotels for cyclists and come back by train with her bike. About a 100 km, but I don’t like to know her alone on isolated cycling lanes ! She is equipped of many trackers and I can follow her on my phone. She is trained with her connected bike at home and participate to connected bike races with women from all over the world 🌍! Well! New to me! 😆 

This morning I went to the hardware store to get everything we need to work on the shed outside.

I bought a cover for our garden table to avoid the birds to come on it.

I had a 10 € vau her and used it inThe decoration store to get reduced prices items for the shed.

I don’t know if we will be able to work on the shed outsides tomorrow because the weather is not very nice as they had announced it!

A quiet Monday.

New find!

 Hello Friends,

Today, I had my dentist appointment, because I had lost a crown teeth eating my Birthday Cake 🍰 😆 !

Good news, I have nothing to pay , there was a problem with it and the dentist insurance will replace it free! This morning while waiting, I heard somebody paid 900 euros! The prices are going up!!!this was the cake! 😆 

I finish the painting of the rooster and duck ( or goose)

And put them back in the garden!

This afternoon I will have a rest and free afternoon going here and there to do some  shopping I need after the bank holiday.

I am thinking of the crafts I am going to do with some of the China I found yesterday…and the afternoon buy some plants!

A busy weekend!

This weekend we have rented a van to clear all we did not want any more. All was stocked in the garage and Mr L went twice to the dump.

Then we worked in the garden and I decorated it with the Garland Of my son’s wedding I was keeping in a box.

My small potager is growing we already ate some salads and some strawberries everyday.

This evening we will go to give some of my clothes to the Emmaus.

We did a very good job !

But our next job is to paint the my garden house, I have got the paint but could not do it last year because of health problems, Mr L will help me!

The paint is between grey and kaki.

Next week will be a hot week better to work inside!
