After our outing, it is now a working day!

Today, was working day! I have been painting the whole day.

My little garden shed has been damaged by a storm, so we bought some wood panels to repair it but the paint specialist been me ! I had to do it!

The field is full of bees 🐝

After work, sitting in a recliner 

 Spring has arrived, but will it stay?

We already did quite a lot of work outside and inside.

All will be done before July!

She shed renovation

Hello Friends,

We are working hard! The shed has had damages during the winter storms. But first I had to clean it and put some désinfectant inside.

We took the table in it and I started the decoration.

Tomorrow i must get a little carpet to put under the table.this afternoon we will bring back the rattan chair and cushions.

We have got to do the outside , start…this weekend 

It is nice to work together as we don’t see much each other because of my husband’s work.

For lunch 🥪 we will have a barbecue !

A busy weekend!

This weekend we have rented a van to clear all we did not want any more. All was stocked in the garage and Mr L went twice to the dump.

Then we worked in the garden and I decorated it with the Garland Of my son’s wedding I was keeping in a box.

My small potager is growing we already ate some salads and some strawberries everyday.

This evening we will go to give some of my clothes to the Emmaus.

We did a very good job !

But our next job is to paint the my garden house, I have got the paint but could not do it last year because of health problems, Mr L will help me!

The paint is between grey and kaki.

Next week will be a hot week better to work inside!

Cutting our field grass.

Yesterday, was a busy day! Somebody came to do an estimation

For us to change our awning ( don’t know if it’s the right word) to make shade on a terrace, for a new electric one. I chose yellow and white stripe, to be more estival. Then an estimation by the same person to change our windows, this one is the first estimation, but I have others to do.

Then, I heard the noise of an old tractor and knew it was the retired farmer who yearly comes to cut the grass in our field!

He had been cutting the grass of a neighbour and wanted to know if he could come. This is his pocket money, so he does not forget!

He is more than 80 so each time I am scared and had to look after him, yesterday it was not very easy with the two of them!

So I had two people at the same times did it was difficult to manage.our field is at the back of our house.

Today, a new estimation for our heating, within two years oil heating won’t be allowed any more so we choose a heat pump.

I have an appointment at 10h30 so I must hurry!

Tiny house and she shed.

 Hello Friends,

Yesterday, I was looking for some ideas to get my she shed settled.

Last year I could not do all my projects because of my health problems, but now I begin to feel better and I am looking for inspiration.

Last year I had the roof changed and the inside insulation done. I started the decoration , but had no time to do my small terrace.

I also have to change the windows and do the outside paint

In greyish green this time. I would like this place to be confortable to spend afternoons reading  or drawing a kind of little studio.

My daughter and her husband have built themselves a lovely tiny house. I sometime watch on tv the building of tiny houses .

Some tiny houses are on wheels and can be moved anywhere.

My daughter’s tiny house has electricity with solar panel and a big water tank.these tiny houses are well equipped and easy to clean! Before I get a tiny house, I will have to work on my tiny shed!
