Peonies and rain.

Today, I am tidying the bedrooms and do the dusting.

I took out my pins, these are handmade embroidered brooches. My husband gifted me some and my son each time he comes and goes to Rouen.

The ladybird is the last one I received.

This frog has beautiful colours but is very poisonous in real!

I found this jacket in my wardrobe and the dress I bought in Dubaï some years ago. I forgot about them!

The peonies are starting to to bloom!

 It was heavily raining this morning, but it stopped and now it is grey and windy.

Mother’s Day.

Roses are coming out everywhere in the garden 

I got a new friend for the little garden, a wind hopper 
Yesterday we built the ikea bed for Maxime. Now everything is ready! I can relax!

It took us (some) time to build it…

 Yesterday morning we had to go to three shops to get the stairs protection gates ( two to install)

Now I have to wait for the deliveries from Dubaï. They are sending some items by UPS not to have to carry them with the two children.

Today it’s Mother’s Day here and we are going to our daughter’s home for the day!

A beautiful weather!

Today, was hairdresser day! New hairdresser.

The result is better than the other one and it is closer.

It was not too long!

The supermarket is at the same place so I did my grocery shopping.

The colombines are everywhere!

At the moment we are having sun hope the three days weekend will be fine to work outside!

Hello Friends !

On Sunday, I just had time to finish my painting when the thunder and heavy rain began, now we are having bad weather. ( but the sun may come back by our three days bank holidays)

Today the roofer came to see what to do on the roof after the numerous windstorms that we had during the winter.

My purple rose bush is full of flowers and has such a nice perfume especially in the evening. 

New peonies are going to bloom

Today, I got the second hand baby playpen.

 Something more to to keep and find a place for the moment.

Tomorrow I am going to test a new hairdresser !( wish me good luck 😉 !!!) I am not lucky with the hairdressers until now 😆.

Today is a special day! Maxime’s Birthday 🎂 

He his two today. His nursery is closed for a week, due to flooding in Dubaï. This afternoon he will have a Birthday party with his nursery friends at home. It will be an international Birthday party with little boys coming from different parts of the world 🌎 !

I wish I could be there, but with the terrible weather there the airport landing tracks are flooded and there are no planes anyway.

Tomorrow is Friday and the end of the week I hope the weather forecast will get better for the weekend as this week has been an awful week with the windstorm during three days. 

Tomorrow I’ll get the vegetables I ordered at the farm for the week and then try to go out during the weekend with my husband.I just looked at the weather forecast and no 🌧️no wind 💨 for the weekend ! 😮‍💨 

After the rain and wind 💨 the sun is back.

Tulips from the garden!

Yesterday, I had a Skype call ☎️ end of afternoon it was my son on his way home. He could not take his scooter 🛴 or car because of the flooding in Dubaï and had to walk 45 mn from work to home. He was under the thunder and lightnings his feet in the water. I was anxious so was he walking in water with thunder. We chat on his way home and I new he was safe back home.

It has been a terrible day, dark all day and many car accidents, drowned car engines , flooded airports no plane… never seen such a weather there!

Today, it is back to normal 26C cooler temperature after the rain.

This morning one little boy was happy to splash in the big puddles! He has never seen that before!

This little boy will be 2 tomorrow ! Already two years old! I hope to be able to go and see him in Autumn as it will be too hot in a few weeks time.

After the rain and wind, the garden is now quiet

It is all getting green

The peonies have survived the wind 

It will be a lazy day for both of us today! I have ordered  vegetables from the farm on internet yesterday and will get them on Friday and I have done quite a lot yesterday… except the shirts ironing I have to do today.
