Before the rain tomorrow! A beautiful day!

I have to cut three butterflies to make one.

 Hello Friends!

Before the weekend and market day tomorrow, let me take stock of my parcel situation! Last night I was watching the news and one of the subject was Roissy airport’s customers. They were complaining about the 5000 parcels arriving each day and a lot of delays in their work. I think  a strike will soon take place! And they are rejecting some parcels i don’t see another answer to my question . Mine is perfectly packed, labelled and the custom label was detailed. Nothing wrong with it. This is why! I am waiting for it to be back, but will not send it again for the moment.

Today, is the last day of sun. Tomorrow rain is arriving, so no gardening and a day out! The meals are done for a few days so nothing to do.Mr L is on duty Sunday so I’ll be on my own all day and it will be a rainy day. What shall I do? Some DIY I expect. 

Yesterday, I did some cooking and cut out some butterflies from my Dutch magazine “Daphne’s Diary”

Nothing much today except that the first big parcel for my son and Max’s Birthday arrived yesterday in Dubaï at least it is the more important one and I am glad it arrived on time it was important for me!

A little Easter decoration and this and that…

 Hello Friends,

It’s been a long day yesterday! From 6AM to 5PM without eating or drinking.

Waiting from 12 to 4  to go for my eye surgery.

A lot of eye drops, two injections above and under the eye and an anesthésie ! I could not concentrate on beautiful souvenirs to be relaxed, because the surgeon was assisted by a robot and he was talking all the time 😆 ! He had 10 surgeries and 13 in the afternoon, one of the ladies who was with me asked a nurse and she was in panic because she was superstitious and did not want to be the last one! But she was the last one and all went well for her.

It is very chaotic here, between, strikes, demonstrations blocking the roads and today a strong wind storm with trees down blocking the roads! And a tornado in  Creuse, Brittany  in a flooding warning  ‼️ and here it is still very, very windy! Hope it will be ok?

We were lucky yesterday and took the empty road to be on time.

this morning I feel dizzy and stay in bed and I will try to do a little craft this afternoon, not sure…

Little Easter boxes I already cut and just have to glue them.  I finally glued them!

This is all I can do for today with some crochet and rest but I don’t like to stay inactive !

HAPPY WOMAN’s.DAY!

35 years ago, I was in  the maternity and gave birth to a 54 cm and 4kg 20  big  baby boy named Romain, Benjamin, Alexandre!

Today, I went food shopping and at the same time , I trained to eat late for tomorrow!

But I bought a take away Caesar salad ( I had a voucher because we often go there on Saturdays)

The salad cost was 1 € with the voucher!

Then I bought my favourite magazines, peanuts 🥜 for the blue tits and more wool I needed.

Now I will stay in my armchair watching “ Hercule Poirot” Hunter’s Lodge mystery”

Daphne’s Diary the Dutch magazine , I am always enjoying my monthly magazines.

 

And all women today was offered a Rose on Woman’s day!

Easter tags and stamping

This morning I decided to start decorating Easter tags, I use vintage school stamps we used  to have in our colouring books at school. I got them in a garage sell some years ago. It always remind me of my school years.

I am also preparing Maxime’s Birthday on April 18th.

I must prepare in advance in order to send the presents to Dubaï on time. ( the post being slaw! And send my parcel some time to the wrong place!)

I took some stickers from an old “Daphne’s diary” 2018.

I did not get the new one yet.

 

We bought a story telling box in french, so Maxime could listen to french language, as he is  used    To English language.

And a Mickey Mouse soft toy. The problem is in a 7 kl box there is not enough space so I have to take the boxes out and protect all the item well.
