Happy Birthday 🎂 William!

In the midst of the  chaos, this little boy is two today! Dad went to get a birthday present last evening. An excavator!

The situation in Dubaï is stable and safe for the moment only planes that takes people flying home.

Yesterday it was very warm 19 degrees C. Fortunately I can stop the boiler to save oil ( oil and gasoline prices are  going up!)

Despite these world worries, the outside world here is welcoming Spring. We had one weeping willow trimmed but the other one is beautiful

New watercolour book about spring 

Nothing is fixed yet I made some yo-yos yesterday and will decide how to do it.

I found in my craft room something of forgot about 

Some watercolour card to be painted. I think I’ll paint this wheelbarrow today.

I used some mintage nibs. Grandma has sent a little video to William for his Birthday this morning We 🥰 love ❤️ you William! Dad’s Birthday 🎁 is on the 8th!

Winter crafts

These are my 17 paper collage.

This activity is nice during winter days and a quiet activity. The first one I used part of a gift from Mari ( the pink flowers) from “My little corner of the world “

Rain drops 💦 on the windows.

This is the craft I am trying to do.

I did a lot crafts with my children and I forgot about what I have got in stock.

I hope it will dry quickly!

We are having heavy rain and I must put the light on in the house, it is so dark.

I am still in my bedroom and must do the cleaning. While we were on holidays spiders have been working 😆!

I came across a vintage hat I found years ago, it is a hat from the sixties from”Kathe and Lady” shop and the price is still in francs in 1962.

I remember the fashion in the 60’s and I loved it.
 

On another subject, last night I baked a cumin and carrot tart, I cooked again after having been to restaurants everyday during our holidays because the food was salty and even with the médecine I take my blood pressure is high , so everything I cook is without salt.

I am still upstairs and I can hear the noise of heavy rain on the roof windows!

I am going to go downstairs and will begin a new craft

After I have cleaned our bedroom. I hope I’ll succeed in doing it!

I have the project to make red and white place mats as I have some red and white fabric left and this is a good way to use left over fabric and make yo-yos.

 Today, I decided to make « yo-yos » with some fabric I have in stock. I first discovered yo-yos during my years in Great Britain ( a long time ago) and a few years ago I came across an interesting book on the subject. I went on Pinterest this morning and saw manu interesting ways to use yo-yos.

Some years ago I made this bracelet with small yo-yo for the Summer .

I found these buttons on Saturday ( at Action ) and will use them in my craft.I did not know what I was going to do when I got them.

I don’t know yet what I am going to do with them, we will see!

Today, after heavy wind storm, rain, 20 degrees C this morning we are back to frost! What a strange weather! But we have blue sky and ☀️ sun!

New day, new finds.

Hello Friends,

Today was a busy day driving outside.

I had two appointments one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Lots of kilometres , I hope to have enough petrol for next week as there still have problems due to the big strikes!

This afternoon we are having wind and heavy showers it was not easy to drive.

As I was obliged to go out I did some shopping to make some new DIY next week.

I got these flowers, a Birthday card for Maxime.

 This is what I got today. I will use them next week. Tommy Bandit is going to the vet for his vaccinations

He does not like to go there and leave us but no dogs allowed where we are going!
