Hello Friends!

Some news from our Bandit! He is doing well, but we don’t sleep very well and we begin to be tired 😴 

Tomorrow it’s Labour Day and a bank holiday so we will have a long weekend to rest.

As you can see Bandit is resting he has special food and goes out in the garden a little.

 Look at William! He is now two and can get out of his bed by himself and… he gets up at 4 AM and I think he must play a little then fall  asleep on the carpet until 6! I would like to be able to sleep 💤 like him 😂 

Today, we are having a nice sunny day but for the long weekend rain and thunderstorm.⛈️

Spring cleaning.

First signs of Spring!

Spring cleaning has started!

We do our daily cleaning but here when first signs of Spring arrive we begin our big cleaning.

🧽 I heard on our local radio that this big cleaning is very good for our mind. There was a psychiatrist on the radio who said that it was an occasion for a renewal and boost your energy! I don’t think young people do it, but our generation still does it.

I started a big sorting out and now Spring cleaning.

These are the old book I have about grandma tricks about house cleaning.

Happy April!

I wish you a Happy April! Next week it will be Easter time already. I hope the weather will be a Spring one… we still have some wind today, but not as much as we had during two days and night. We are safe, I did not go in the garden to look at the roof and trees, but for sure some branches must have been broken. We will see.

Yesterday, my son did not work and he Skyped me yesterday afternoon so I could see the three of them.

Maxime is training himself to walk and was happy to meet other children to the kindergarten. They are soon taking a break and take the plane to Norway 🇳🇴 and first go to Oslo and the to the Lofoten islands with another plane. They have ordered Maxime some clothes for cold temperature, because he has only summer clothes for Dubai temperature. It will make a change going from 35 C to 0 C or less! 

It is nice not to hear the strong wind day and night and I slept well last night! Today, we are food shopping for two weeks. This morning I must make the menus and the list and tomorrow take the branches out of the lawn and maybe go for a walk if it does not rain ☔️

News from my son ´s  expédition  in Svalbard North Pole

Happy Spring!

I got these daffodils in our field behind the house, they are 20 years old and getting bigger and bigger each year!

We will have a nice Spring week and yesterday we had to queue 

At the car wash after the episode of sand storm from Sahara, everybody had to clean their cars especially the windscreen!

Some Pretzels for tonigh 🥨 

Today I will finish reading my 8th book, do the washing as a Monday , do some dusting …

Hello friends,

Yesterday, we had a nice quite day. Having Birthday lunch with our daughter and her husband.

Then, we went into the garden but it was freezing cold and my son- in - law always brings his tools in case I have something to do in the house. He did some repairs and put some light in our closet which is very convenient, I think we will put lights in all our dressings and closets.

My husband wants to retire within two or three years, so I we want the house to be ready on time for sale.

We are now in March and wish you all the best! Happy March!
