Scrapbooking , souvenirs and Christmas table decorations

Just showing you a Christmas table decorated table!

I think I will slowly begin to decorate for Christmas 🎄 

This is the weather a few minutes ago, now the sky is dark and it is raining a lot.

During many years I have been doing scrapbooking 

Collecting pictures when travelling for our children 

These are my scrapbooking books. During the years I have noticed that I had to glue back in place some photos and letters, so i decided to do it today.

Yesterday, Sandie  asked me how many countries I have visited?

Well the answer is 20 countries.

But living  in France it is easy to visit European countries which are not so far and then go further.

When I was a student  we had a student  railway pass and as I loved the train I had the opportunity to travel through Europe a lot.

As I am working on my scrapbooking books, let me show you some of the pages I made.

This is about Norway and I used 3D technique

In fact I printed 3 or 4 photos, cut some pieces off and with 3D glue I superimpose the pieces I had cut to  highlight some details. I love doing that!

I did it with the boat ⛴️ it looks like if it will pop out the page!  In my childhood I had pop up books and I loved them. Maybe it’s why…

These are the Netherlands and I love the thatched house so I did it too

I love to do it with architectural details

And fun with the cows!

Another technique ( I don’t remember if I did it in a course or did it by myself??)

Looking for missing letters to glue back in place

 I will have to glue back the letters for  Canada 🍁 

We had great fun there! I have enjoyed all the countries I have visited and met beautiful people there!

A lighthouse and a castle.

Hello Friends!

Today I was not very inspired but my son sends me pictures everyday from  their stay in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 

And when I saw the lighthouse picture I thought it was the one we’ve slept in when going through Scotland together.

The pictures were taken by his drone and i thought I could share them with you. The first one with the sun is my best one! Beautiful Nature!

The second one looks like the one on my scrapbooking.

End of Halloween 🎃 preparations! Sweets are ready!

I had forgotten the one I did from Bruges when we had spent Xmas there.

Delivery day.

I received  my orders. The scrapbooking shop always add three sweets and the Etsy shop for decoration tags which is very kind of them.

Yesterday the postman came for his end of year tip

And I had to choose a calendar. Usually it is kittens or baby dogs or sceneries, this time I was pleased with a girly pink calendar! 😆 

Today, I am waiting for two deliveries 🚚 so I can’t go out. I am starting what’s called a “ junk journal “ a Christmas one. I am using the vintage lace I have in stock for years.

I am waiting for a scrapbooking items delivery and a kitchen one. We are changing the kitchen hood and gaz cooker.

A rainy Sunday.

 

It’s a rainy and cold Sunday and I have cooked apples and pears and baked an apple tart for my husband as I am on a diet. Two kilos lost this week!

Then I continued my scrapbooking with all I had in my boxes. I decided to order some scrapbooking items in the USA which will arrive within two weeks. I ordered from “Stamprints” they have a huge amount of items.

It is a nice FIY for winter.

This is what I did yesterday and today , but waiting for my order to embellish and finish theses pages.

What will you do during the Autumn and winter rainy days?

Four years ago, after my last travel to Japan 🇯🇵 I made this small scrapbook. Here it is…

Today, I did not know what to do except the housework and did not want to go out, so I started a new one with vintage pictures I had in stock for long.

Made some tags, but did not finish yet.

This week with my doctor husband I decided to start a diet! Well I have many kilos to loose after surgeries and treatments. So I have to keep busy.

1,7 kilos lost this week!

Trade mill each day and diet. I want to loose five kilos quickly ( because of high blood pressure) them slowly until a reasonable weight for my age.

It is difficult, but less difficult after some days.

My husband is getting food outside for tonight from our Mediterranean and healthy restaurant tonight, so no cooking tonight! But not before half past eight 🕣 it will be long!
