Happy Birthday 🎂 William!

In the midst of the  chaos, this little boy is two today! Dad went to get a birthday present last evening. An excavator! 

From all of us.

The situation in Dubaï is stable and safe for the moment only planes that takes people flying home.

Yesterday it was very warm 19 degrees C. Fortunately I can stop the boiler to save oil ( oil and gasoline prices are  going up!)

Despite these world worries, the outside world here is welcoming Spring. We had one weeping willow trimmed but the other one is beautiful

Nothing is fixed yet I made some yo-yos yesterday and will decide how to do it.

I found in my craft room something of forgot about 

Some watercolour card to be painted. I think I’ll paint this wheelbarrow today.

Do you remember when we used these ink pens at school?

I used some mintage nibs. Grandma has sent a little video to William for his Birthday this morning We 🥰 love ❤️ you William! Dad’s Birthday 🎁 is on the 8th!

The temperature is cold for Dubai this morning my son told me it was 11 C the coldest winter! But 23 C in the afternoon until 5!

Hello Friends!

Just a quick post to say thank you for your messages!

Today I did the last shopping for my husband, put notes for him to know how the different machines are working… weighted my luggage. Yesterday I did my online checking. Now my small air fryer is heating a croque monsieur I made myself. Then I’ll finish all I have to do before leaving for Paris Roissy airport.

We are waiting for another storm over Brittany which is already flooded! Huge waves and strong winds  again!

I saw that in USA it will be very very cold! Stay safe and « Bon courage! »

They arrived!

Yesterday, they arrived ! Fortunately we feel better but tired.

Grandma has bought some warm clothes warm jackets in the Netherlands as it is cold.

Grandma got up at 4 AM , the children have been waking up early with three hours difference with their country, so grandma is very tired, but with a lot of hugs grandma is very happy 😃 

We did a little walk in the country this morning and Maxime said we were going in the jungle because of the lot of trees! I did not know I was living in the jungle 😂 

 In the afternoon we went to Desjardins a big garden centre with lots of Xmas decorations, eat at the restaurant and had a look at the fish, rabbits and birds.

William is not feeling too well because of his teeth and is now in bed, Maxime is playing with grandpa in his police car.

I am resting in my recliner before preparing the meal.

Finally after this first day grandma will sleep well… she hopes! See you soon for grandma ´s adventures!

Busy, busy, busy…

Hello Friends,

Just a quick hello in a busy day.

Cleaning 🧽 and preparing baby items before our outing, only one weekend left before we go and then the grandchildren will arrive!

The little chair is clean and ready. Now I must prepare the baby bed upstairs, baby bath in the upstairs bathroom, changing place and clean Maxime’s bath 🛁 then prepare the grocery and cook, put some dishes in the freezer and bake some cookies !

This morning four o’clock I heard my phone 

And I had pictures and films from my son who is on holidays.

The first film is about the turtle laying her eggs nearby their bedroom.

Afterwards she goes back to sea.

Now we will have more than 30C about 33C

As I don’t go out during the day, I am doing some tidying and found these little plates from England.

I found a three in one baby and child bed.

A cradle on top and can be changed in a child bed,

Changing table. A folding bed to take when we  will go in the hotel with the whole family on the coast.
