A sunny 🌞 cold beginning of week.

Today, it’s still cold, but sunny and blue sky through the haze. 

Yesterday we had our lunch in a crêperie in Honfleur, we discovered the organic without alcohol cider which was very tasty and good.

Then in the afternoon we had a waffle and a hot chocolate.

We decided  to leave on time before the rush on the motorway 🛣️ which is going to Paris.

It was the first time we use d the payment of the motorway on our phone and don’t have to stop and pay at the machines. ( we already used it in Dubai long ago)

 

I found a new book about watercolour to learn how to paint wild flowers.

On Saturday I went to my favourite clothing shop for the end of the sales. I received a message it was 70% off! I found three tops and three pairs of jeans.

Last week I reorganised my kitchen shelf 

And i sorted out my cook book and recipes. Today, it will be a quiet day. The nurse came this morning for my blood test, tomorrow I go to the hairdresser and this week  I’ll meet the young mother to give her  the clothes my grandchildren don’t need anymore, we must choose the day.

The sun 🌞 is here and I may go for a little walk!

Today, it is still grey, foggy and cold, so I will be reading, looking at my old “Country Living” collection and do some baking and crafts. Here is a reading corner of the house I like to sit. Nothing very special, an ikea armchair and ikea bookshelf that was brown and painted pink (girly colour 😂)

And looking in closets and drawers I found some Cath Kidston’s shoes i bought on sale long time ago and that I forgot about! One is for summer and the other for autumn.

 I like the Italian curtain in linen with his beautiful embroidery. 

Nothing special these days except it is very quiet after having 6 more children and grandchildren in the house! 

But grandma was very tired after three weeks, I wish I was younger ! 

The egg custard cooked in the air fryer are very good and tasty!😋

I am back!

Hello Friends !

Here I am! It was hard time , but it went well and the results are good. I came back yesterday afternoon

They gave me morphine so I was a bit sleepy, but had no pain. This morning the clinic just phoned to know how I was feeling. Yesterday my husband had to stay with me all day ( clinic’s order)

And today I am on my own.

Before I went to the clinic I made this small album made with three envelopes and vintages post cards I had in a drawer.

One is for a wedding Anniversary, the other for Easter and the other one from a little girl to her grandmother 
I have taken the Xmas decorations off.

Bandit is very happy mum came back home.

It is windy and grey today and 10 C

 Now there are health problems in Dubaï and I am very worried , I am not able to go now, but the other grandma may be able to go in February to help before the birth of the baby. I hope to be able to go after the birth in March. There are problems with the baby

And my son must have a second surgery. Lot of stress there are I keep in touch with my son any time.

It is hard when you live far away!

The next scanner for the baby is beginning of February

Very busy day.

Last night I have watched a program called “ the cleaners” it’s about people who have problems to clean their house and need help. The houses are very dirty !

Mr L does not like the program, but went out to take the dog for a walk so I could watch it…

This morning I felt like doing some 🧽 🧹 cleaning!

I started during the weekend by cleaning the downstairs windows, so today I cleaned the downstairs floors 

Upstairs 🪟 windows, did the dusting in four rooms.

Yesterday I did the ironing and have new clothes to ironed today.

This is one of the bedroom I cleaned. On the bookshelves are my magazines.

Yesterday I finished a book, started another one and finished it last night… so I started a new one this morning!

I think I will have a cup of cocoa!

Tomorrow is the day I go to hospital for my eye laser.

Now that I have cleaned the windows …. They are harvesting before the rain! Dust everywhere! 😆 

Some quiet after all this agitation.

Today is a nice Spring day as I must stay home for some time i baked a sour cherry cake, listen to Chopin’s first concerto and read my cosy mystery book in my armchair on the picture.

I lit a yankee candle and listen to the music which is very relaxing

I will have a piece at five with a cup of tea.
