Roses!

 Hello Friends,

Today, my ankle is a little better and I will do some painting outside. We are having a very nice weather, more like Summer

And we are expecting 30 C this weekend and next week.

Bedroom transformation and roses.

 Hello Friends,

Today, I have more quotes to do today as we are going to change all our windows and doors.

Yesterday, I did some changes in our bedroom, took off the vintage ladder and «  this and that » to have more space for the 

People who are coming to put the climatisation next week.

I found some new curtains  before we change the window.

The vintage suitcases I painted white and add a stencil on them.

Some decoration magazines are inside.

At least, the roses are blooming giving a nice fragrance in the garden.

More work to do today , but I have with a sprained ankle!

Today, is a very gloomy day! Rain, rain and more rain, 10 degrees less than these previous days!

Bandit does not even wants to get up. The horse is standing back to the wind and under the rain.The sheep’s are in their shelter.

I often go to this shop in Dubai . I have ordered a summer bag.

These geese are what I would like to do next. I think I will use fabric from a vintage sheet to make them.

Blooming in the garden.

 The first rose from this rose bush! It will soon have hundred of roses all summer. Full of bees soon, my neighbours having beehives in their garden.

The first purple rose also appeared.

Chives living on the alley.

Poppies from different colours , going from pink to red and orange.

The Mockoranges ( Seringat) not sure of the translation.

Is in full bloom and smells so nice, especially at night after a hot day. Yesterday was sunny and warm 28C, but today we are expecting thunder storm.

Yellow roses are starting to bloom.

Lavenders are blooming soon and will add a nice perfume and will give food to the bees. 

Spring is here, already 19C this morning!

A day in the forest.

 

Yesterday, was my husband’s 63rd Birthday and also Mother’s Day. We spent the day at our daughter’s cabin in the forest.

We had a barbecue and a Birthday cake, the weather was fine and warm enough.

Today, I have cut an iris which was bending on the ground and took it inside.

Then, after all these rain, I cleaned the downstairs window,

Cleaned the outside table ready for barbecues!

This afternoon, I received my son’s present for Mother’s Day.

Some cream from the blue lagoon direct from Iceland.

My daughter gave me a Bougainvillea.

On Saturday, I had my second injection and changed my glasses.

We went out to our favorite village and had our breakfast outside

As my appointment for the injection was at 8 o’clock 30 km from home.

We had to drive in the country with many fields and then through a forest.

We appreciate the sun and warmth!
