Hello!

Today Sunday, we went to our daughter  on Rouen ´s heights ( Normandy) and had my Birthday lunch 

There. 

I first gave my daughter what I brought for her new kitchen, gave my son in law his present, a game for his beloved cat and a small Weber barbecue for their new home. Then I visited  their home and she just show me what they have done recently , a brand new kitchen.

I had brought my Birthday cake, a black currant and raspberry mousse. My daughter had made lasagne and we enjoyed our lunch.

After lunch we viewed on big screen TV their holidays from all over the world 🌎 we had a very nice time together and my son in law helped me with my kindle 

To buy a book 📕 it is done!

My Birthday presents were two beautiful peonies, so I have six now in the garden. Last year, I had a Japanese one. They are all of a different pink.

 This week I must have my new glasses done, take an appointment to the dentist

As I broke  a tooth crown today eating my mousse cake unfortunately! And take an appointment for my thyroid ultrasound ( the joys of getting older 😆)

In the afternoon we had a Skype from my son and saw Maxime before his first Birthday on Tuesday. He was chatting in his own language and is very cute.

Now his hair is curly and his teeth are coming out.

This is my Birthday cake 🎂 done by the same patisserie we use to go since 35 years. Birthdays, children confirmation, weddings and they know what we like.

 Today Maxime is four months and grandma baked a small heart fruit cake with Maxime candles that we will lit tonight! His mum will eat it and as she is feeding him he will get some of my Birthday cake in her milk!

We won’t see him for his first year, so this is why I decided to make a Birthday 🎂 cake

This is a fruit cake and I baked another one and I tasted some and it is quite good ( first time I make fruit cake with almond powder inside “Miam!”

I have a LOT to do and I hope I’ll be fit enough.

Grandpa ‘s new car broke down and  it is difficult to have it repaired on time.mine is American and grandad a European one (I will not give the brand but…he is not very pleased we could have had a very serious accident!)

But we will use mine to go on holidays fortunately!

A day in the forest.

 

Yesterday, was my husband’s 63rd Birthday and also Mother’s Day. We spent the day at our daughter’s cabin in the forest.

We had a barbecue and a Birthday cake, the weather was fine and warm enough.

Today, I have cut an iris which was bending on the ground and took it inside.

Then, after all these rain, I cleaned the downstairs window,

Cleaned the outside table ready for barbecues!

This afternoon, I received my son’s present for Mother’s Day.

Some cream from the blue lagoon direct from Iceland.

My daughter gave me a Bougainvillea.

On Saturday, I had my second injection and changed my glasses.

We went out to our favorite village and had our breakfast outside

As my appointment for the injection was at 8 o’clock 30 km from home.

We had to drive in the country with many fields and then through a forest.

We appreciate the sun and warmth!
