Enjoying making soft toys 🧸

Do you remember my rabbit family?

This is what I did when I had my back surgery and could not walk. I think to make some more for the baby room when our son is coming in August.

I also have to get second hand baby bath … but I will buy a new bed and mattress .

Until August it will leave me some time to find all that I need.

I love making these little soft toys , but they are very small and not easy to 🪡 sew 🧵 

They are made of felt . The apples are made of felted wool.

 I started to make the fox family but I ran out of fabric I must get some from «  O Merveille » on the net , it’s a nice shop selling felt, felted wool and DIY books.

These are my small tomatoes 🍅 I already had a good harvest!

Every morning I water the garden and look if they all are ok and growing correctly!

First iris, but my best one is missing ??? A brown one I suspect Mr L to have put it with the rubbish when weeding…

First purple rose! 

I have got five planters the first one is radishes, two are strawberries 🍓 and the kast one is salads I have another one with sweet peas. I have to protect my salads from the sparrows ´ nest!

Many agitation in the garden! Babies cries and parents feeding them. We have four nests above our windows and the rose bush

The best is somewhere in the rose bush! It will have hundreds of flowers soon!

Today my daughter and her husband are flying to visit her brother and the new born baby they are stopping for a few days on their way to the Seychelles 🇸🇨 !

DIY flower decorations

I found this lovely Spring decorations in « Brocante living » ( source) using vintage cake molds and wire. It should be nice outside decorating the garden for a barbecue.

 Hello!

When I go to the Netherlands I buy some decoration and DIY magazines, they are beautiful ! Especially about brocante and vintage decoration ones.

Today we are having unusual Summer temperatures it will last for two weeks today24C and it will be going up to 29C and no rain ☔️ it is becoming very dry!

A quite Sunday

 The azalea is in full bloom!

My terrariums are growing

Each time I go to the Netherlands I bring a decoration for our home!

I brought this small watering can with mini sun flower seeds

The garden is waking up but in Normandy we are used to have much rain and at the moment it’s already becoming dry. The next two coming weeks we should have 30C which is unusual and no rain…

I hope blogger will allow me to leave some comments soon!

This azalea was a gift from my father in law for Mother’s Day.

Today, is housework day and shopping day for the fridge!

We are having nice Spring weather 20C and 🌞.

Bandit his having a rest after his holidays at the kennel!

He does not really like to go and when it is the end he just rushes into the car.

Between Netherlands and Belgium

This is the sound of the Beffroi every half an hour.

Today we went to Damme in 🇧🇪 Belgium we saw the “ Beffroi”

We had Lund in The Netherlands in Retranchement in zee land.

I had « croquettes » cheese, meat and shrimp croquettes.

When I go to the Netherlands I always have some croquettes ! 🇳🇱
