This and that…

Yesterday, we went shopping it was a bank holiday 

But the big ships were opened and we finally found our new bed in a new Danish shop. This is were I also got the pixie for my daughter.

We had our lunch out at a restaurant were you can eat food from the north of France it’s a beer brewery.

There is a vintage lorry in the restaurant and lamp made of beer bottles.

We had a flamekuche with cheese bacon and honey

Then a clafoutis waffle with custard and amaretti cherries… so good!

 I also found a place called “Au vide grenier” it is a place where you rent a space to sell things you don’t want anymore. I have plenty to sell, some clothes and decoration items. I have rented a place for three weeks.

Each time you have sold an item they send you a mail for you to bring another item in your shop. For me it will start the 25th of November. I will take pictures of the place and my shopping place then.

Bllogger decided of the pictures order again!

This is what I found in my little favourite shop.

This romantic small frame, a new cup and square flower saucer and a new member of the mice family They now have a cook.

Then  we had our lunch at “Little Garden” our favourite Mediterranean healthy restaurant.

We had avocado, tomatoes, cucumbers and salad with sweet potato and yogurt sauce with crispy chicken.

Then we left to the shop which is in the village of one abbey.”Le Bec Hellouin”. While driving there the rain was pouring… and when we arrived fortunately it stopped.

We had a stroll through the park

And had a look at the old trees

 

And the old buildings . Many windows to clean!

Then we went to the church to pray, the place is so serene.

After having been to the monks shop where i bought their honey and their  bitter orange marmelade for breakfast.

Then we headed home. Today, the rain is back and the temperature is going down, nice Autumn weather!

 

Going back to the castle in Summer!

Toy day Sunday, we went to visit again the castle « Champ de Bataille » we usually visit it two or three times a year on different times of the year.

There were quite a lot of people at our arrival, but as it is very big it was quiet.

These are  boxwood     Hedges and in between many lavenders, it was a nice walk with a lovely perfume!
