Waiting for the barbecue!

This little piece of furniture is back to it’s place!
Now I will have to work on the table again to protect the paint.
Wait for the children to arrive to our barbecue I took some pictures in my shed. Yesterday, we went to a brocante to look if he had a vintage bedhead like this one I just saw on a selling site between particulars
It is very cheap, but not easy to go and get it. We will have to rent a van…but it would be very nice to paint!
To be continued…

( from the net)

We visited a garden full of hydrangeas

My favourite is Pinky Winky but they don’t like to grow in our garden.

Working hard 😓!

  • Top transfer.
Hello Friends!

For some days now, I wanted to paint and change the look of this little piece of furniture.

Today, I got up early and decide to begin, it was 9 O’clock and I finished at 14h30. Then I had a quick snack and now having a rest for a few hours and then do some ironing and laundry. It is 25 C and the laundry will dry outside.

The decorative papier is glued with varnish glue ( mod podge) the stressing part is to cut the paper.
As I had some left, I did the drawer’s sides.
This is nearly finished!

I used two “ vintage Paint” and used small sponges 🧽 to blur the paints. That’s it for today!

A new project

This morning, I had a new furniture decoration project.

I found this new vintage transfert to put on an English wardrobe. Before I have to paint part of the  two doors.

the shop owner thought Royal blue was nice, but I tried and thing the colour is too dark for the transfer.I prefer Dusty blue, I think it will be much better if I want to see the transfer. I will have to go back to the shop.

Well today despite going out this morning I finished the ironing I had left and now I am watching “ Miss Marple”and relaxing with a piece of banana and chocolate loaf.

Hope you have or you had a nice day!

Little vintage things...

 Hello friends!

Chalk paint post.

This is what I did during the lockdown with chalk paint and jam jars. I use them for my jewellery.

On top of the jars are drawer knobs.

I also use Annie Sloan chalk paint.

The pictures are from my upstairs bathroom the vintage frames are from « Maison du Monde »

This is very simple to make and they are very useful!

Thank you for your visit.

The flower headband is mine, from my Laura Ashley

Wedding dress.
