THE Day!

Hello Friends!

Today, was my Birthday and we went to join our daughter and SIL for a brunch aside the river Seine.

My daughter brought me the bunch of flowers sent by my son from Dubaï with a bottle of champagne! 🍾 

My daughter brought me a  beautiful Swarovski bracelet .

The Cathedral on the picture is always in reconstruction.

Lots of young people and young parents were running and biking 🚴 ( I wished I could still run and cycle!)

They transformed the ancient warehouses in restaurants, museum, sport  centers. A little electric boat is going from one side of the river to the other.

This is the opening bridge to let the Tall ships arrive in Rouen for the Tall ship exhibition .

This is the restaurant for young people “Cocorico”so we were surrounded by by young people which was good when it’s your 70’s Birthday!🎂 😂 

This is the place we had our brunch! Before they all arrived.

 There is a terrace with view on the river, but we ate inside because it was too cold.

Some more presents are arriving next week.

It was a nice day and we had a walk along the river in the fresh air. We arrived home and I took a picture of of my favourite flowers The Peonies !

They are beautiful flowers with such a delicate perfume !
