Rose Apple recipe and watercolour.

This Patisserie is in Bayeux a lovely vintage one.

Today, it will be a long post.
For Linda and you if you want I have explained how to bake Apple  🍎 roses!
Get well soon Linda! A rose for you!

Just go down…and up!

How to make apple roses?
You must start down sorry
Fold the puff pastry then roll it gently to get a rose put it in a muffin tin, bake for 30 minutes ( but keep an eye on them) 180 degrees Celsius, gas 6.
Then put some apricot or apple jam to melt in a saucepan and apply on roses when baked with a brush to make them shine , when dry you can put some icing with a little strainer if you want.
Bon Appetit!
Put some apple compotes on the puff pastry, just a little to stick the slices

Cut 50 cm wide puff pastry stripes
Boil 40 cl water, two soup spoons of sugar half the juice of a lemon. Put the slices of apple two minutes to get soft so that you can bend them

Take red apples 🍎 it will be nicer. Cut them in thin slices

I love the decors very vintage

At the same time I am trying to work on skies and clouds.

My little bakery ( boulangerie)
As they were in my childhood vintage and colourful!
Yesterday, I have had a nice day!
Doing watercolour. I am practicing to make my own “Carnet de voyage”
There are too little books. The first one has some drawings and you add the colours you want and exercise with the brushes. In between there are blank pages to add your own drawings.
The first page I did with my own colours

“Choux caramel beurre salé”

This morning while Mr was on duty, I stayed home and decided to bake some”Choux”
I have not made choux for a long time. I started by little   ones and then bigger ones to fill with caramel salted butter cream.

My salted butter cream is a  too brown  but tastes good.
I had to look at the choux in the oven and watch the caramel at the same time and it’s a bit over heated.

Filled with salted butter caramel!

Have a nice weekend !

Pear shape cookie cutters and crochet blanket.

Finally, Maxime got grandma’s presents 🎁! Clothes, lot’s of french books , toys and a little cotton blanket granny has  knitted  for him. It is hot in Dubai but not inside with the air conditioning.

Yesterday, I took my taxi to go to the clinic and it was rather quick… my eye surgery will be on March the 9th. I ordered new taxi rides for the end of February for an eye ultrasound to prepare the surgery. The 9th Mr L is coming with me for the afternoon and then two taxi rides to make sure everything is ok.
And finally I hope to get my two eyes back to normal!

Today, I must get up early. The fibre optic project continues! For the fifth time! The team arrives early and they will dig through the asphalt  ( hope it’s the right word?)  of our path to look for the problem… I am scared , they’ll dig with
Jackhammers and it will last the whole day!
I hope they will succeed and not go through water pipes  or anything like that.
I hope I will have some rest after all that stress!

I managed to bake some pear 🍐 cookies! More baking  😆 ! Cookie cutter pear shape ( Ann Clark cookie cutter)
This is what I did the next baking will be a Japanese sponge cake.

I have put lemon 🍋 juice on them, but some are getting a little bit brown.
This is easy and very good I tasted and I found the right little size pears 🍐.
