Garden center décorations.

Hello Friends !

Today, was a rainy day but we had to go out to « Ikea »! Again! They have made a mistake in our delivery and we had to change the item. They gave us a 20 euros gift and we already had a 10 euros voucher. We had lunch at the garden center Desjardins. 

There was a lot of beautiful Xmas decorations, I took a lot of pictures, but I am sure Linda will say it is too early!

So I only show you two of them…

But I also show you Halloween 🎃 flower display.

Then we went to a second hand children clothes sale in the village next to ours. We found many nice clothes for our little William. Aunty Maud is going to take them with her when she goes to Dubai in November.

In the afternoon we built the bed that has been delivered from Ikea and tomorrow we will have the bed side to build 

And remove some furniture from the room and prepare everything before Xmas.

We will soon be going to the Netherlands again for a few days.

New table project, cooking and baking day.

Hello friends,

Last night I was looking for a new table. Ours  is a very old one, I had painted it white in the past but we would like to change.

I have been looking for a long time for a round table, but the one I saw where too big and square or rectangular and brown…

I have seen this one on «  Charming decoration »

And reminded there was one nearly similar on Ikea’s website.

A round table is more convivial and takes less space.

It’s a table for six, which is enough for our small family. This will be our next visit to the shop on Saturday, get a new table before winter!

This morning I prepared baked potatoes with cheese ( Tomme  de Savoie)

Then I prepared a fruit salad and an apple cake.

Outside it is 14 degrees and we are having sun and wind!

Home tour.

 Hello Friends,

As the weather is horrible, heavy showers and thunder all the time. I decided to take pictures inside and make a tour of the house.

The hall. The door will change to be like this one, but adapted to the shape of the door.

It will be white inside and light green outside.

Upstairs. The light is not very good due to the weather.

For the moment we are lucky, in some part of France they have been flooded and some had tornadoes !

All the flowers are spoiled and we can’t go in the garden.

I hope we will have better days soon.
