Our little trip to Rouen

Yesterday was my visit to the ophthalmologist in Rouen. Everything is ok no glaucoma ! Now we’ll see the MRI to see what’s wrong… I have walked 4 kms to take some pictures for you. In Rouen it is said to be «  the town of 100 steeples » so there are many churches.

It was not cold we had a hot chocolate outside and then were in the traffic jams! And then had a rest at home.

Rouen Cathedral is on fire!

At the moment my daughter has sent me this picture of our Cathedral in Rouen on fire. Some works were having taken place at the moment and a short circuit maybe the cause of it and unfortunately it is not raining today!

Hope they’ll be able to stop the fire, we should have been to the cathedral tomorrow but all the streets around it are closed and we don’t know what is going to happen.

We are going out this afternoon while the weather is fine!

Today it is30 degrees outside the house but 22 inside

So I prefer to stay inside doing some housework.

My son in law came last night to repair the washing machine and it’s working all day.

Each year from June to September we have a sound and light show on our cathedral, each year it is different.
