What will be Grandma doing today?

Well, a typical day here… wake up at 5 or 6 prepare porridge, wake up the children, have coffee and breakfast very quickly. Prepare the children for school and misery.

Mum takes Maxime to school by car or bike ( along the canal) they take William to nursery. Mum is rushing to the gym and daddy as well, while grandma is helping with the kitchen tidy, get the laundry done then prepare herself to go out to get fruit and vegetables from Waitrose ( and she may have a little treat 😜 on her way! 🤫)

The weather forecast here today: 25 C Sun and blue sky. But… before 10 grandma’s favourite weather around 18C!

When I came out of the Mall it was time for the fountain show.

Grandma went to the toy shop and had to walk a lot came home before the heat but before she had an ice cream a lemon 🍋 one at Morelli’s her favourite place!

Hello friends!

This is the view from the balcony! A small town in a big city. Many new buildings since my last visit!

 Grandma went back home with toys and is playing with Maxine who came back from school 2 pm.

On m’y way to the Dubai Mall

Yesterday, was a very hot day, so I decided to go in the Mall to get cool air. I went throughout old town which was very calm because of the heat and people being at work.

This is like a village in a big noisy town.

In the end of the afternoon you can hear children playing together

Dogs going for a walk…

There are no cars coming inside .

Yesterday, was my son’s Birthday and women’s day.

I went to the Mall to get a present and went to the children level

I had a look for baby boy’s clothes but so more princess dresses than boy’s clothes, but I found what I wanted there.

The Mall has 1300 shops if I remember and you may walk many kilometres! Yesterday I walked 7 km.

Today, it is still very hot and I think I will go out later in the day.

My walk of the day.

 Hello Friends

Here is the Dubai fountains’ show.

I started to walk this morning as it was cool, but now it is threeO’clock and the sun is burning, so I went home to have a rest.  I had my breakfast at the “ Au pain quotidien “ french words but English food and I had my scrambled eggs, then I went to the Mall to have a look at the shops and went to Marks and Spencer

I found a beautiful phone in the ladies rest room and had to bring to the lost and found.

Then I went to other shops and met a lot of people coming from all over the world. I went to the Dubai Mall souk , had a lemon month at the Shakespeare and co and an ice cream  at Eataly..

I take my time and try to enjoy, because I don’t think I can come back for awhile. My daughter in law ‘s parents are going to leave their country Moldova to escape and we are very worried. The baby is due to arrive very soon.

Her parents should go to France where they have relatives .

I took some pictures on my way and I found some flowers.

I keep hoping for better news and that peace is back!
