Before I start cooking and baking for the weekend, I went out in the garden with Bandit.
All week the weather was cold and rainy so I did cleaning, laundry … inside and I did not see the Rhododendron in full bloom! I was looking many times and there was nothing, so surprise when I went to have a look in their corner of the garden! The Azalea will soon be all bright pink!

I love pink!
Apple trees flowers.
This bush is at the garden entrance with a white Hydrangea and mock orange bush ( not sure of the name) it is all white and has a very nice smell. It will be soon blooming with the lilacs . ( don’t remember the name of this bush on the picture ?)
I live Wisterias!
So romantic!
We call it “Mary’s heart”
The peonies take time to be in full bloom, due to bad and cold weather.
Well I have better go and cook! And will visit your blogs in between! I wish you a lovely weekend!
Ah, the joy of Spring! So very beautiful.

Your flowers are so lovely! You are about 2 weeks ahead of us in bloom time. My lilacs are full of buds but nothing open yet. Same with Peonies and Mock Orange. May will be so full of blooms💗💗💗

RépondreSupprimerSo many of the same flowers in your lovely garden grow also in mine. What you call Mary's Heart we call Bleeding Hearts (the pink ones). Wisteria is beginning to bloom here, too. Pink flowers and blue ones are my favourites. Enjoy Spring!
RépondreSupprimerBeautiful flowers!

My DIL has so many peonies and a huge lilac, all that I planted for her recent years. It's the house I grew up in that she owns now (went to her after my son died in 2013). The pink and white dicentra are called "Bleeding Heart" here. My mama grew them in the garden when I was a little girl (1960s/1970s). There are still little plants of them that poke up through the ground each spring. I think they're some of the most wonderful spring flowers! Blessings to you, Catherine!
