Patchwork and Maileg

Hello Friends!

Today, we are still back to cold weather. Yesterday I did the laundry and shirts ironing.

At the moment I am still on a diet so this morning I just looked at the Maileg cakes and food 😂! My husband doctor says I must loose weight for my health! But with thyroid problems it’s… difficult!😣 

I love my Maileg house but I am not sure my grandsons will be interested with it! Batman and trucks are their favourite games. No granddaughter to play with it !

News from Dubaï: dad is on his own, cleaning and reorganising the whole flat! School is going to start soon so the grandsons will have to go back to Dubai soon.

I love the tea set and macaroons  ! So good but not easy to make real ones.

On Saturday I bought a new steamer mine was old and broke. I use a lot my steamer to cook vegetables.

Rain drops keep falling on my head!

Today, is both the day I prefer!… dentist day!

I have bad childhood memories with the dentist

And it’s a new dentist.

Yesterday I was looking for some fabric I had in my closets and I came across some patchwork I did not finish. If I remember it’s a log cabin?

Granny Marigold asked me to show the blanket I finished last night. I made it with many tiny 10gr cotton balls I wanted to get rid off. But I have spent a long time hiding the threads left!

This will go to my daughter’s log cabin!

Now I must vacuum and do some laundry before living.

I will have to go under the rain… it doesn’t stop these days, but we will have water for the dry summer which is reassuring !

Patchwork and cooking 🍳

Hello friends !

Today I have put on our bed the patchwork bed cover won at the patchwork club I was going to

 This summer i found at Aldi this raviolis maker kit and I must find a recipe to make some fresh ones.

My DIY of the day! Very easy. Got this embroidery circle from my mon’s and had a beautiful piece of fabric in stock. This afternoon I will get more circles from a shop and use the other bunches of flowers to do different sizes circles to decorate a wall.
