Ready for cold weather!🌦️

Hello Friends!

Before another internet and power cut and as I can’t go out I went through my drawers and took out winter mittens head band and hats.

The wind started early this morning with the first power cut. The bridges are closed, the trains are stopped and by the shores the wind blew at 150 km/hour.

It will get stronger by the shores and as we are only 70 km from the sea it will get stronger during the day.

There are already broken trees on the roads.

A scarf I did not remember I knitted it a long time ago.

 These are mittens and head band I bought in Belgium ( Bruges) last Spring. It is a very small shop with a lot of knitted hands, mittens and scarves all hand knitted. They are displayed by colours and it is very nice. It is called “Marie Brat”.

Some views from this beautiful town I like to go. Each time we go to the Netherlands 🇳🇱 we go by Bruges  a wonderful place!

I will stay at home waiting for the end of the storm ⛈️ Autumn is here! And cold is arriving by the end of the week! 161kmh wind on our coast in Normandy today!

Hello Friends !

Do you recognise the place and the land?

In Europe…Belgium and town Bruges. This is why I will be off my blog for some days. My husband and I need a break and we are impatient to visit more museums in Bruges and Gand. We already know these towns but it is always a great pleasure to go back and walk in the narrow streets or in a horse carriage.

I am preparing our stay and have lots of to do!
