Here in France we are having a heat dome. Thunderstorms and hail. The temperature is rising and more than 40 degrees in some places. Schools are closed and some trains cancelled.😞 it is very a very serious moment.
Hope everything goes well. Damages have already occurred around us so I will be back in a few days . We will eat ice creams to get a little freshness!
It will be a long period of heat!

It was 53C on my sunny balcony 2 hours ago. I'll go out in summer dress later, otherwise I can't stand the heat.
The news on the radio, TV and the internet are full of advice on how to protect ourselves.

We were in the South in the year 2003, and had the worst heat there. I know many people died of heatstroke.
