Well, today I was remembering visiting an exhibition in the American museum at Giverny about motherhood.
I love this painting by an American woman “Mary Louise Fairchild” from Connecticut . I love everything, the lilies in back ground and the freshness of the scene with the mother and child. I fell in love with this painting and I wanted to share it with you today.

You brought back some lovely memories for me. i think we went to Giverny two or three times in different seasons, and didnt want to leave!
RépondreSupprimerThat is a beautiful painting. I loved my only visit to Giverny and I hope that I'll be able to return some day. The house and gardens are full of so many interesting things. The copper pots and the blue tiles in the kitchen are a favourite.
