Today, is laundry day and grocery shopping day.
I went into 3 shops. First to Action to get peanuts for the birds đŠ
more sweets for Halloween and balloons to tie to the gate, a basket to stock my winter scarves near my coats downstairs( not going up and down too much)
Then to a shop where you can buy local food.
After that I went to Lidl to get fruits and vegetables for the week.
On Saturday my husband bought a second book vase.
We waited to stay in the shop tea room but the owner was very sick with COVID NOT wearing a mask đ· as I can’t be vaccinated again ( last vaccination I had heart problems
Pericarditis ) so no more vaccine for me.
So I did not go in the shop only my husband
We had a drink in another not too crowded place.
We are having COVID back and avian influenza! Lots of birds already died on their migration routes. Domestic birds are locked down.
I also found new yarn 𧶠at Action and three white Amaryllis at the same shop at a very good price!
On Wednesday I will have the locksmith our front door being blocked for two weeks we go out by a window ( French window) they could not come before.
Now the washing machine is working, I have put away the food in the fridge and cupboards and I am relaxing reading my book đ!
You did the right thing by protecting yourself against Covid and not going to the tee shop. I hope your husband didn't get infected while he was there.

It's past noon here on this Monday as I type. The laundry is in process. Lunch at 1:00.
Outside is a mess from the wind and rain storms over the weekend. We'll take our time with the clean up since there is more to fall out of the cedar and maple trees.
