This and that on a Monday

Hello Friends!

It is pretty cold here! We are waiting some snow by Thursday until … next week.

I am glad my hairdresser’s appointment is tomorrow as it is difficult here to drive on snowy roads and climbing the hills in the forest.

We have been working all afternoon on our “Orient express “ puzzle a very hard one.

On Saturday it was the private sales and I found a skirt and top from last spring and I can use it during my stay.

I also found some bags easy to carry when you have a stick in one hand. Now I have to phone Emirates to have assistance during the travel. So I have a lot to organise before leaving . 

Yesterday, we had our son on Skype and he told us he was leaving on Saturday for a photo trip to Antarctica!

This worries me a lot! But I have to cope with it I expect…his trip will be long and he will have to go to Sao Polo and take three different planes and then go on a big sailing boat for a week. I know he will take beautiful drone pictures and that he will have internet but I will worry like mother’s do!

 We won’t be doing much on New Year’s Eve but we usually make our new project decisions on the 1rst!

So we will see???

As I have many appointments in January and prepare the house and food for my husband before I leave  I’ll be back sometimes before my trip and then when I arrive in Dubai.

( and at the moment I have some problems with blogger??)

First this morning, we went to my head IRM 9 o’clock.

All went well and coming home I received the results ( except the after effects of the car accident brain damage that still can be seen, all is ok! But I also had cervical vertebrae damages and the problem is certainly there neuralgias.

Well I am glad of the result, I am lucky!🍀 

On another note subject, we had a nice Christmas Eve with our daughter and son in law. I did not cook! For the first year and ordered our meal. I only did the first course a smoked salmon avocado bûche ( we prepare some food  essentially the cake in a  log 🪵 shape. I did the first course in that shape. I ordered the main course so I was not always in the kitchen and our daughter ordered the cake.

So I was free and enjoyed the evening with my family.

Before I used to cook during three days! But this time it was only the four of us. 

We played games on my SIL ‘s phone and laughed a lot till past midnight!

The next day I could see our grandchildren opening their presents in Dubai. Now I have to prepare my travel and stay this one will be long three weeks ! 

My plane ticket is taken and a “ big” health insurance. 

Medical care is very expensive there better anticipate 😂 

When you are agreeing.

We had a lot of presents, books, a new watercolour box, a beautiful puzzle, perfume…

This evening I am relaxing and this afternoon I did some watercolour to enjoy my afternoon and the good news!

         Tomorrow  Saturday  it’s our day outside  we will wear our winter coats, gloves and scarves ! It is -4 degrees Celsius ! And next week we will certainly have some snow ⛄️ for the end of the year.

Just a quick hello before Christmas Eve. This will be a typical, simple table. Everything is ready!

The food is in the fridge!

 I received photos and videos from our grandsons this morning. Hourra! My ticket is booked and my insurance taken. Now my IRM on the 26th and I’ll prepare my suitcase 🧳 health will wait until I come back!

I am now preparing my clothes for tonight.

Our little trip to Rouen

Yesterday was my visit to the ophthalmologist in Rouen. Everything is ok no glaucoma ! Now we’ll see the MRI to see what’s wrong… I have walked 4 kms to take some pictures for you. In Rouen it is said to be «  the town of 100 steeples » so there are many churches.
