New peonies, roses and weekend!

Hello Friends 

Let me show you my new Mother’s Day peonies! ( two others are smaller and must be potted  this weekend.

Roses are starting to to bloom despite the freezing temperatures. But next week it should be hot 🥵 

The sparrows are nesting bringing dry grass to their nest in fact they are living here all year having food and water.

Some babies have already left the nest. We have got four nests! A lot of noise!

 I had news from my son, the schools are not re opening for the moment, but the kids Birthday parties are now taking place and friends gatherings too! They ‘ll be busy on Sunday!

I will be busy this weekend so I wish you now a good weekend!

Hello Friends!

Some news from our Bandit! He is doing well, but we don’t sleep very well and we begin to be tired 😴 

Tomorrow it’s Labour Day and a bank holiday so we will have a long weekend to rest.

As you can see Bandit is resting he has special food and goes out in the garden a little.

 Look at William! He is now two and can get out of his bed by himself and… he gets up at 4 AM and I think he must play a little then fall  asleep on the carpet until 6! I would like to be able to sleep 💤 like him 😂 

Today, we are having a nice sunny day but for the long weekend rain and thunderstorm.⛈️

Spring cleaning.

First signs of Spring!

Spring cleaning has started!

We do our daily cleaning but here when first signs of Spring arrive we begin our big cleaning.

🧽 I heard on our local radio that this big cleaning is very good for our mind. There was a psychiatrist on the radio who said that it was an occasion for a renewal and boost your energy! I don’t think young people do it, but our generation still does it.

I started a big sorting out and now Spring cleaning.

These are the old book I have about grandma tricks about house cleaning.

Cupcakes and flowers.🌺

Hello Friends!

Today the weather 🌦️ is gray but 15C.

I hurried in the morning to illustrate my today’s post by baking cupcakes to match my cupcakery  shop watercolour . It’s a shop from Paris today.

I am not good at glazing and the cupcakes are vanilla.

The little decorations are from Jumbo supermarket in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 so is the glazing.

All flowers are out

My husband is  fan   Of  botanical Lego’s and last weekend he made an Orchid.

 Yesterday I finished knitting my scarf and begin another one at the same time finish reading my book and doing more watercolour!

Weekend time!

Hello Friends!

This morning i finished my book!

Yesterday i went to my hairdresser and got my hair cut and dyed  more our less like the golden colour of the Autumn 🍂 leaves 🍁 😂 

The pumpkin 🎃 on the left has been given to my husband by a patient from his garden I like it’s green and yellow colour.

After the hairdresser I did some shopping and found these beautiful white tulips ( surprising to find tulip in Autumn?)

Then I found this cyclamen 

Let me show you how beautiful is the Maple 🍁 autumn colour! It looks like flames 🔥 

Yesterday as I was reading our sparrows arrived to take their bath they were queuing and it lasted about one hour, they are so numerous! All born here !they have been slashing so much that I had to fill their bath twice! And now it’s empty again.

Last evening while waiting for my husband to come home from work I have watched a British series on tv “ call the midwife” a very interesting and moving one I’ll continue tonight.

 Well! It is already the weekend! On Friday evening it is “pizza evening” no cooking!

Like a Monday.

These aren’t cherries but little decorative apples. This is the first crop, plenty again on the little tree! Too much this year the branches are bending a lot.

So cute these tiny apples!

Hello Friends !

These flowers are not from my garden, but from the little market on Saturday in the village next to ours.

I bought my weekly vegetables to a man who has a big garden and sell his vegetables and fruits every Saturday

He even grow sweet potatoes.

I love their colour so bright . When we were in the Netherlands we saw a field full  of dahlias.

Yesterday I did not do much in the afternoon except follow our daughter’s race on my phone! She did the 42 kms but had to walk for t the two last kms being exhausted.

It was her first marathon, so I think it’s quite good to finish it.

Today, is cooking day!

I have to cook spinach, beans, tomatoes… and freeze some meat for the coming week. Then continue dusting…

The laundry is done, and finally watercolour if I have some time left.
