Busy Monday, lazy rest of the week!

View from my bedroom window .

Last September morning! It will be sunny and cool today
Can you see the bird flying ? On top so tiny.

A parcel will be sent tomorrow for the grandchildren.
They like soft and warm pyjamas I find in the Netherlands.🇳🇱 rabbit 🐰 pyjamas!
They live in a very hot country, but with the AC they are sometimes cold and if I hurry they’ll have them to go to Scotland.
This is one bag of the windmill flour.

In the book there are 45 different shops from different countries
One is a shop from Normandy I may start by it.

 Hello Friends!

Yesterday I had no time to do watercolour because all my time was spent in the kitchen cooking ! Stuffed butternuts, stuffed sweet potatoes, apple and cherry crumble. Spinach and endives all from the Saturday market. I froze some of the meat I bought at the butcher and now I have got to cook for tonight. Tomorrow yogurt making and a kind of cottage cheese for the week. I have also pumpkin 🎃 soup with my soup maker!

I bought some flour from the windmill in the Netherlands and I may bake our bread again. But as I bought two new watercolour books to exercise I must practice tomorrow and read my new books . so many projects! In fact, I love Autumn and winter when I can stay inside and read or paint any DIY!

As you can see it’s the end of the day and still sunny 🌞

Thank you for your visit!

Like a Monday.

These aren’t cherries but little decorative apples. This is the first crop, plenty again on the little tree! Too much this year the branches are bending a lot.
So cute these tiny apples!

Hello Friends !
These flowers are not from my garden, but from the little market on Saturday in the village next to ours.
I bought my weekly vegetables to a man who has a big garden and sell his vegetables and fruits every Saturday
He even grow sweet potatoes.

I love their colour so bright . When we were in the Netherlands we saw a field full  of dahlias.

This is from our garden cyclamens that are spreading
In our little wood part.
Yesterday I did not do much in the afternoon except follow our daughter’s race on my phone! She did the 42 kms but had to walk for t the two last kms being exhausted.
It was her first marathon, so I think it’s quite good to finish it.
Today, is cooking day!
I have to cook spinach, beans, tomatoes… and freeze some meat for the coming week. Then continue dusting…
The laundry is done, and finally watercolour if I have some time left.
Have a nice week and thank you for your visit!

Rouen Marathon and this and that…

Bravo 🎉 Maud!!! First one.
This is our daughter Mount Blanc hike they went in Switzerland and Italy.🇮🇹
Hello Friends !

Yesterday, we did our shopping 🛍️ in different places and going through a village I noticed this cemetery decorated wall. I found it very poetic and the cemetery looks less sad as usual. Our cows from Normandy and the peaceful landscape looks nice on this particular place.

On another subject, our daughter is running the Rouen Marathon today! She did a semi marathon but never a marathon. She trained for one year getting up at 5 AM before going to work. Now I am following her on my phone and she did half way 10 kms already! The next 20 ones will be the most difficult and Mum is a bit stressed!

Now she did 26 kms! She just comes from a Mountain hike and just had Covid I hope everything goes well for her!
Our son is preparing his trip to Scotland with the two boys
Well ten hours flight from Dubai !
It’s nice to be young! Don’t you think so??
Thank you for visiting !

Back to my daily routine!

Yesterday I did some dusting and  took some dust out of this mask. It’s Inari a Japanese divinity ( a fox)
And it made me smile because Maxime our grandson was scared of it!
Maxime and his family are soon going for October school holidays to Scotland! So lucky, such a beautiful place!

Here is Bandit happy to relax after the kennel.
In the evening he is asking for bedtime very early time of the kennel! A sort of jet lag 😂
Drinking my morning coffee but not eating the biscuit ( dieting) only for decoration!
I found a cherry cake filling in the Netherlands 🇳🇱
We don’t have that sort of can in France… or I have not seen.
Before going on holiday I found this pleated big dot top.
Some of a wall decorations
I love this Japanese representation of a family so cute!☺️
And these three Robins aren’t they cute?😊

The lorry 🚛 came to deliver the fuel for the boiler and I am ready for the coming winter!
I have appreciated our holidays, the friendly atmosphere of the hotel with no cooking, no dusting only walking, reading and resting!😌 now I slowly start again my normal routine!

Thank you for visiting, have a nice day!
