Our little travellers 🧳

Our two little travellers are off to Tatihou island ( Viking name) for some days and before they stopped to Caen Memorial on their way.

They will go on the island by amphibious boat.

⛴️ when the tide is low the boat uses his wheels and when it’s high tide  it is sailing! I used to take our children there and they loved it!

They will sleep on the island, there is a hotel and restaurant on it now.

It will be a good experience for them “ a mysterious island”! 😂 

This is the coolest place in France so they’ll be fine! It’s called Cotentin and I love it .

We are going to there as part of our September holidays and may move there in the future 

When grandpa will retire!

I will be following their little holidays from home as grandma feels very tired but when she hears:” grandma I love you” she forgets her tiredness and keep going on!

I had an invitation but I think they will enjoy those days with their parents and grandma will prepare their return and their going home next Sunday.

Grandma will make chocolate cakes as grandmas do!

Yesterday was a day at the sea to try to get some fresh air but no way! It was so hot, too hot for me! 🥵

Indian garden from the Chateau!

Hello Friends !

I have just a few minutes peace so I just wanted to show the Indian garden of the castle that we can visit only once a year. I think it is beautiful and I love it!😍 

It is the chateau when it is green!

I couldn’t show you the inside because it was crowded and it was suffocating!

But this was at Christmas “ much cooler!”

Today is the hottest day of the week! 5th heat wave !

We are going to the sea side tomorrow the children will have a swim and then I booked a restaurant and we will take the children to a fair.

I ‘m afraid I have to go and look at books with Maxime!

A family outing

Today by a dry and very hot weather we went to visit the castle and its garden. It was so hot !🥵

An Arboretum and a castle

Today a quick post about our afternoon in the Arboretum in the village of Harcourt . There is a Medieval castle. Last year they were rebuilding it now they have finished and doing the inside.

When I was a child it was a ruin!

They have build games for the children in the park. And a little cafe and shop.

Very old different sorts of trees

Look at what they have done, so much work.

It was hot outside another heat wave is arriving 

So we had a nice cool afternoon!
