Cupcakes and flowers.🌺

Hello Friends!

Today the weather 🌦️ is gray but 15C.

I hurried in the morning to illustrate my today’s post by baking cupcakes to match my cupcakery  shop watercolour . It’s a shop from Paris today.

I am not good at glazing and the cupcakes are vanilla.

The little decorations are from Jumbo supermarket in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 so is the glazing.

All flowers are out

My husband is  fan   Of  botanical Lego’s and last weekend he made an Orchid.

 Yesterday I finished knitting my scarf and begin another one at the same time finish reading my book and doing more watercolour!

Hello Friends 

It has been  some days before I post today, but I had a lot to do , my husband had flu after he vaccinated and i myself am not too well for three weeks.

After having the electrical problem, coffee maker out and now oven problems it was hectic but most of the problems are solving!

The new coffee maker arrived and we are pleased with it it grounds coffee ☕️ 

On Saturday I tried to go out and it was hard but we went to a new concept store and had coffee we found little watercolour books a tiny puzzle and had a latte macchiato with a little home made apple and caramel cookie.

The electrical problem is solved for the moment… when the electrician came he had to go in a bedroom upstairs and with a ladder had to go in the attic I  wanted to hold the ladder for him but he said he could manage! I was downstairs and received a phone call it was him asking me to come  the ladder had slid  and he was stuck in the attic 😂 you could see two legs moving in the air it was fun ! Then I held the ladder for the rest of the work.

Tomorrow is a Bank holiday here and we will both have a rest!

Hello June!

The weather is fine and today I will continue my shed painting.

This morning my Xmas Amaryllis is starting to bloom, I already have two flowers, but four more flowers are soon opening itself. I don’t have a green thumb ( here we say a green hand) I am surprised to be successful !

 

My dessert for lunch ! My crumble with a little very low fat cream in my « Bol » from the Netherlands.

The weather is fine, but with the sheep 🐑 close to our house, we have lots of flies!

I use this to repel the flies! But it does not work all the time it would be better to put mosquito nets on some our windows as we also have mosquitoes 🦟 especially «  tiger mosquitoes »!

I was waiting for a technician to come and I did this while waiting. This afternoon it is very hot and I will wait to paint the shed outside, that the sun ☀️ is not so hot. 

Christmas flowers .

The flower I love to grow for Christmas are white Amaryllis, they are so beautiful.

This year I grew two pots and I am turning the pot everyday otherwise they bend to get more light. For the moment they are perfectly upright.

I found one month ago some Christmas crackers to bring at my daughter’s, little father Xmas, snowman and reindeer.

Today I will try to wrap the presents .

As many of you I think, we will have a rainy Christmas 🎄 ! Unfortunately.

 Not all the flowers will be opened for Christmas, but I will have quite a lot in a few days!g

I finally got the strength to bake a gingerbread !
