Hello Friends!

Today, we are still back to cold weather. Yesterday I did the laundry and shirts ironing.

At the moment I am still on a diet so this morning I just looked at the Maileg cakes and food 😂! My husband doctor says I must loose weight for my health! But with thyroid problems it’s… difficult!😣 

I love my Maileg house but I am not sure my grandsons will be interested with it! Batman and trucks are their favourite games. No granddaughter to play with it !

News from Dubaï: dad is on his own, cleaning and reorganising the whole flat! School is going to start soon so the grandsons will have to go back to Dubai soon.

I love the tea set and macaroons  ! So good but not easy to make real ones.

News from our daughter in her Mount Blanc tour in the Alps! The group is enjoying the walk!

It’s quite a long way to go in one week.

I will read the second part of “ the housemaid “ a thriller by Freida Mc Fadden. I have read the first part in English and the rest in French.

I don’t know if I need dresses? Only in the evening for the restaurant. Jeans  and sweater for the rest of the day and raincoat.

I thought I could sit in my deck chair on the beach like the Maileg!

 Hello Friends!

As you can see the weather won’t be very nice during our holidays! Better take warm clothes, raincoat, umbrella and books  📕! The suitcase will be heavy! I don’t think we can wear summer clothes!

It’s Autumn 🍂 for sure!

I must explain you why I was stressed yesterday. Well there are some problems in our country at the moment.

People are unsatisfied and the country have been paralysed yesterday by big strikes and roads were blocked.

This is why I was scared not to be able to reach our holiday destination. It happened ounce and we have been stuck on the European  motorway between hundreds of  huge lorries for three hours that was scary! And it took us 7 hours  instead of 4 hours to reach our destination and we have to go through Rouen which is also blocked!this is not going to be easy believe me. We are not the only one in this situation unfortunately, no planes, no trains…when French people are unsatisfied they block the roads 😂!

Don’t know the situation today we will see???

Back home and back to housework !

This morning I went to get Bandit at the kennel, he was very happy to see me and jumped into the car!

I know a shop where they have Maileg accessories and found a nice tea set and the vacuum cleaner I was looking for for

 We came back last night and today we are having our tees trimmed. I am stressed to see the professional up the tree with all the security but you never know…we have 6 trees to be done.

Maileg house at Xmas.

 The past week, I did the Maileg house dusting and today I finished the Xmas decoration.

Last year I have knitted them red and white scarves for Xmas 🎄 

Today, I won’t do much my right knee being blocked 

But I will continue my journals.

Yesterday I prepared the meals for a few days so I can rest my knee and take pain killers!

Trying to go out!

 Today, guess what?… we are having another storm!

But less in intensity.

It is the weekend  we would like to go out, but the place we want to go we have to drive through the forest and we have been told to be careful as many trees still could fall. Well! We are surrounded by forest so it is hard to get a safe road! The place I would like to go is where I find my Maileg mice. The Maileg house I am doing will be for my grandchildren. But…

At the moment, Grandma is playing with it!

I have decorated it for Fall and now will decorate for Xmas.

I found little burgers ( they are sweets) for the mice grandparents !

 I think we will brave the wind try to find a way without any forest to get something new ! Maybe Maileg Xmas decorations !and do our food shopping 🛍️. This is not a strong wind 80 kmh a normal Autumn wind.
