The day 39 years ago!

Early this morning, we went to get the Birthday cake I have ordered. I’ve had a croissant 🥐 and I bought some «  mignardises »

These are the mignardises I bought for the coffee.

Well! This will be « the » day replacing my Christmas in bed with Covid for the third time at Christmas !!!!

The croissant we ate.

Then on our way we stopped at a little country church to put a candle for our future second grandson whose birth is due beginning of March .

Before we left this morning the table was laid!

I woke up at 6 and now it is 10 and I am having my morning coffee with a speculoos biscuit ( cinnamon biscuit) so good with coffee!

Yesterday, I was wondering what will be the menu for Saturday’s Birthday . (Our daughter Maud’s Birthday)

And I found! Like in the good old days! A crêpes Party 🎈. Salted ones and surgery ones with different toppings. Cheeses, egg, bacon… and chocolate, lemon curd ( I am going to make ) jams…

We use the electric crêpe maker in the middle of the table and each one is doing his own crepe. You may have such thing in your countries ?

 The table cloth is an old one I sewed long ago

And I decorated the middle with paper napkins tomatoes 🍅.

The flowers are from the garden.

Today the weather will be rainy and windy it is so dark that I must use the light !

My Birthday dream in fairy land.

Today, is my Birthday 65 already!

No party, nobody because of the lockdown, but this how I would like my Birthday party to be!

Let’s dream there is no Covid, nor lockdown and we can gather with the family!

I just found on my door step these presents from a friend of mine.

I was surprised because my gate was open for the nurse to come and she did not want to come in case of contamination.

I enjoy it very much!
