Cleaning and sorting out!

Hello Friends!

Today, I had more energy and did some Spring cleaning and sorting out in my workshop.

Humm! I baked some apples with puff pastry and butter and brown sugar for the weekend.
 

Then I sorted out the downstairs bedroom with my perfume organ.

I used to do all the painting and wallpapering in the house.

You can see Mr L new puzzle on the bed.

This weekend will be a busy one!

Mr L will work in the garden and I will work inside in the morning and relax in the afternoon.

On Monday, the roofer we have been waiting for one year will finally come, so it will be a busy week!

Early glimpse of the garden.

 

Hello friends,

Today, I was able to go in the garden, I feel stronger each day and I am glad!

It has been a long time inside and as soon as the lockdown is over I will go out to the sea.

The peonies are budding, some of the strawberries are in bloom.

This is the end of the hellebore flowers.

We will soon have to have the field at the very back of the house cut. The weeping willow is having leaves.

It’s a nice clod sunny day and it is nice to let the sun come inside!

 Hello friends,

Today, a tour of the last bedroom, my son’s room.

At this time, I was reading “ Cote ouest” magazine and they were selling wallpaper and fabric, so it inspired me as my son loves the sea, I found this wallpaper.

His disinter and I put all the planets you can see on the cieling as he is found of astronomy. They shine a few hours when dark.

I found this cieling lamp which light is very special on the cieling.

The little horse toy , is Palomino, coming from our trip to Cornwall.

The frame on top of the desk we brought it from Canada.

The chest of drawers was painted white by me and had the drawers decorated with wallpaper.

The view is the window view and you can see the tree blooming in pale pink and the small magnolia in buds.

Bedroom and vintage toys

 

Today, let me show you my bedroom.

U have got some vintage toys . Here are some teddy bears the two with a hat are from FAO Swartz from New York and the other one is a hand made one from Cornwall if I remember from Polpero.

The quilt is handmade I won it from a quilt exhibition.

The vintage dress is from an antique shop. I found it with some lace I bought and did not know what it was I tried to put the pieces together and saw it was an ancient dress.
